im running ubuntu on my other laptop i want to configure my dynex wireless card its a dx wgnbc if that helps. im a beginner and have no idea where to start so thanks ahead of time
I will give you a rather stupid peace of advice (useful once you have the card driver properly working): the network manager applet in gnome has 2 context menus, one with the right click and another with the left click.
sir i am not a moron in fact Google was indeed the first source i tried. it did not help. i am using warty warthog btw its an old version cause its an older laptop

i was experimenting with the network manager in the main menu if that's what your talking about it really didn't work out for me i need the driver if possible

I think that the driver for that card should be working out of the box. I was talking about the netwok-APPLET (usually) located at the right top corner of the screen.

oh i know what your saying now its all grayed out and it does nothing but tell me that there are no wireless devices
