Tonight I'm going on a date with my new girl, and it's the first time since we became officially together. I've no idea why, but I have never felt so nervous.. physically sick in fact. What is the problem??

Would a few shots of vodka be a bad idea to settle my nerves? I drink regularly so I'm not talking about getting drunk, but just enough too loosen myself up. It seems like a good idea to me, but I don't want to have to rely on it everytime we meet.

Advice plz?

Be very careful if you do this. Assuming the girl is not a total retard, she will definitely taste the vodka on you. Even through minty freshness/whatever else is in your mouth. It's pretty tough to get rid of. A few beers maybe...

first of all i wasn't planning on seeing anyone that day, but she called me and then i found out my friend and his perspective gf were there, i had to go or else i would look like a pussy and my chances would be ruined.
