I enjoyed last night as I do when I (infrequently) attend these things. Last year was a little more magical though, making out with my chick in the middle of the sea of people when this awesome song came on...and it was both our first times there. But THIS YEAR- fuck. A crowd of 70,000? Thats a bit overboard. And now that I realize 12 people died there last year, statistically, around 20 or so probably died this year. I mean providing free water at least would be cool. But I heard people got stabbed- some kid got his throat cut outside, some kid got jabbed with a syringe and was trippin out, a few girls got raped. Generally the crowd seemed a little less savory than ive known. Some dudes still tried to start shit with me and im fucking HUGE. Its just really sad that its gotten that bad. A friend who needed medical attention had to wait 40 minutes to see anyone. Anyway....

I dont know exactly what the deal is, but my heart seems to be fucked. Maybe its just that ive been to scared to try it again, but im gonna play it safe for now. I used to do a LOT of coke, a LOT of E, a decent amount of smoked glass, smoked weed every day...you name it. But lately, when i even try to smoke weed, I get that sick feeling in my stomch, like when a roll starts to kick in- and then my heart starts beating really fast, i cant breathe and I want to throw up. Does anyone else have experiences like this? I mean it happened rather suddenly about 2 years ago and hasnt left since. Of course I havent gone anywhere NEAR stims since then, cause im damn sure ill die if I do. I am addicted to heroin now, so I know that it slows the cardiac muscles and makes them less able to handle stimulation... but is this something that could improve with cardiovascular exercise?

I just feel that mentally, im stagnating. I miss the feeling I used to get from being able to indulge in psychadelics and E and the like, and its depressing to think that I may never be able to do anything again.

But the fact that all those kids died at a fucking rave is a reminder to me to not press my luck, because it can happen to anyone. Especially not right now.

If anyone can share any experiences theyve had with this, id appreciate it a lot.

Have you ever ODed on meth, crack, or coke? I had friend who blew a massive amount of coke in a short period of time, like 5-6 grams in a couple hours, he started with symptoms sorta like how you are describing, then he started throwing up black bile and eventually passed out. He was taken to the ER and although he was fine afterwards, they found out he did some pretty bad damage to his heart. Whenever he does coke now, he starts sweating like a madman and gets all red (he's a fat dude too).

I can't really give you any advice, besides that maybe you should talk to doctor. I don't think being addicted to heroin helps either. Sorry.

1) Yeah Im thinking its possible that I did some cardiac damage. Thi sis going to sound farfetched but ill say it anyway. Me and my friend used to buy coke in quantites no one should ever consume. We'd just sit there listening to music on his comp while id post on TOTSE, shaving lines off this fist-sized rock that wed broken off- getting yayed all night with the majority of the cheer squad. One night i was blowing lines at my house and he called, frantic, saying that someone had just robbed us for a good chunk of cash. I was so fucked up, my first reaction was to find the biggest knife i could in the kitchen and sprint to his house, 5 blocks away. I mustve gotten there in a couple of minutes, cause the dudes were still outside. As I ran up to th egroup, one of them looked at me and yelled "WHAT THE FUCK". They boned out into a car and took off as i chased them. But when my friend saw my face, he just said "Jesus dude..." Unbeknowst to me, my nose had bled all over my face, and a blood vessel in my eye had kinda popped, giving it a scary look. I just stood there for a few seconds and then collapsed in the grass. I mustve layed there for 25-30 minutes. My heart just wouldnt stop. Like a fucking motorboat. I ended up not even being able to walk, and have to have him drive me back.

That mightve been part of it.

2) Yeah I saw all those wierdos. But I saw them last year too. I think asians just have something to prove. I must say i was also pleased- I danced with some girl who was done only in irridescent body paint- and she was GORGEOUS. Markus Schulz and Tong rocked. (thanks Hazey!!!!)

3) Yeah, youd think there would be some media coverage- which is kinda my point. I think theres just so much money behind these things (think of how much they have to pay each of those headliners!) that they try to cover up the bad press. There were I think 21 or so documented OD's last year, and 12 deaths. And that was when there was 60,000 people. I felt bad thinking about how I was having a good time and someone was losing their life. I mean I spent 85 bucks or so on WATER, and I had to carry my gf out when she passed out from heat exhaustion. Try carrying someone out of the middl eof a crown of 60,000. yuck. ANd then there were all these asshole gangsters and shit this year. Just people who were not at all down with the scene or the vibe...it just felt dark and kinda scary.

And yeah I prolly will try to see a doc if i quit doing H, get a bit healthier, and this still doesnt go away...

And hedblown, thats strange. I never really had H give me an irregular heartbeat. As a matter of fact, like Meta, I originally started using it to medicate myself, because after I tried it it completely fixed the chest pain and tachycardia I was experiencing. Hope that gets better tho.

Man, Monster massive... I got a free ride up there in '07 and the dumb bitch that was driving got the car fuckin impounded(hahaha illegal parking) and she wasn't 18 yet, so she couldn't get the car back without her parents(6 hours away in Phoenix). She ditched us to go hang out with some other bitch. Anyways, we ended up hitching a ride back with my friend that was spinning at one of the after parties in exchange for us helping him pack up all his equipment. It turned out that the one bitch got ditched by the other bitch and bitch # 1 got left in LA. One week later when dumb bitches mom finally decided to go get her, I convinced bitch's mom to give my friend and I a ride up back up to cal cause I left my hat in the car
