Default Something seriously wrong with my van

So i go out to start my van this morning so i can go over to my boyfriends apartment and realize that there is something seriously wrong. At first i was pissed, because all i could see was that my front windshield was cracked to hell at the bottom, which i did not do. So i unlock the door and as soon as i open it all i can smell is gasoline. It felt warmer than it should and the interior reeked of gasoline.
At this point i decide that i'm going to wake up my dad and ask him to take his car. As i am going to close the door i hear an odd clicking noise. About two seconds later i figure out that it is coming from the fuse box. Yeah, definitely not driving the damn thing now. So i woke up my dad and told him about it and i swear all he heard was "cracked windshield".
So now i come to you totse. It is (i believe) a 1994 nissan quest minivan, in fairly good condition up untill the last week or so. The automatic shoulder seat belt part stopped working, and a light stating "antilock" has come on, but according to my dad nothing was wrong. Yeah, right.
What do you guys think?

You might have a loose insurgent gear or your revolución pump might be out of order. Or, one of thse could be in your trunk.

I'm in love with a girl that knows what a fusebox is.

I told a girl how a turbocharger worked one time.

Then she got pregnant and now is forever relegated to being 'damaged goods' in my mind, even though I still sorta like her.

I'm being a classical music wanker lately and I'm enjoying it thoroughly.

I want to rent a Bentley and blast out Ride of the Valkyries on a chap lap and see how long it is before the other wankers realise I'm making fun of them.

We all know the only music to play in a Bentley is this, ad infinium.

So, are you ready for the sad tale of "The Girl Who Knows What A Fuse Box Is"?

My dad figured out what was wrong with my van. Sometime from when i drove it home last night to when i woke up this morning it caught on fire. The gasoline smell was really gasoline and melted plastic. I have pictures to go with this. While i am pissed off and sad that my van basically committed vehicular suicide, the pictures are kinda cool.

And, last but not least, The Floor:

Like I said, vehicular suicide.

Fuck.

It was about 5:30 in the morning. I didn't even get all the way in the car. I just shut the door, woke my dad up to tell him there was something wrong, and then i borrowed his car. I don't know too much about cars, but i know enough that starting it when it reeks of gasoline isn't too bright an idea.

Wow. It's lucky you actually had a car to get into if stuff actually caught fire inside AND it smelled of fuel.

looks like somebody did some hack-job wiring in there at some point or replaced a blown fuse with one rated for MUCH higher amperage.

stock wiring with the correct fuses rarely if ever could catch fire like that. Do you have any aftermarket electronics in there? Headunit, amps, lights,etc.....

Also if the dash was on fire why would it be leaking gas? perhaps somebody poured gas down your vents and lit it on fire?

All the oxygen was probably depleted. If there was a window open, it would of been another story..

But anyways that'll probably buff right out...
