so ive never actually hallucinated.
just wondering if u guys have some tips on where and how long it normally takes and how long effects are and whether if it frys my brain like e.

Alright well I can't specifically answer yer question because I've never done E, but I can help you out a little bit. First of all, before I ever dropped acid I did mad research on erowid. Just look at a bunch of trip reports, look at the ones where they combine E and cid, just shit like that. It also depends on what you're trying to get from your trip. If you wanna get all introspective and shit and just have a nice clean acid trip, I'd say think about just dropping the acid without the X.

Or what you could do is just buy a few extra doses and then drop those at least a few days before you decide to candyflip.

To all the noobs, PLEASE follow this procedure in future thread making:

1. Check erowid.org to see if they can answer your question
2. Use the search feature on totse (yes, it exists) to see if your question, or something similar has been made by someone else (in this case, about 52,000 times)
3. If the two above methods do not work, make your thread. Proper grammar, spelling, and sentence structure earn you bonus points. People are going to take you more seriously if you don't come off as an idiot.

Sorry, I had to rant. This thread is made at least a dozen times a week, it would seem. I really do like helping folks out, but answering the same question over and over and over and... (you get the gist), things get tiring.

Why not? Acid is more popular now, it's better, and there are more acid questions on these forums than there are DXM questions now.

Times'r they are a-changin'. I don't see a reason why this forum shouldn't adapt to recent drug trends, and LSD has been vastly gaining popularity over the past 5 years or so. To me, it seems, that the past two years has sparked a LOT of interest in the drug.

Actually...

1. Hallucinations are exceedingly rare on "hallucinogens," and much more common on disassociatives (I've heard) and anticholergenics.

2. The visual distortions and illusions, otoh, while present and sometimes extreme, will be the least of the effect.

Depends a lot on dosage, but assuming you're doing submilligram doses, about 30-120 minutes...

8-12 hours, of which the peak is maybe 1-2 hours.

Nooooot even close.

In fact, hell... mdma doesn't really fry anything unless you abuse the shit out of it or cut it with amps, but there's still a clear mechanism. L, otoh, does not fuck with the reuptake pump, does not deplete serotonin, and most importantly, cannot suck dopamine into serotonergic neurons. Just not gonna happen.

You can probably disregulate a few receptors with sufficient abuse - hell, I've done that with changes in diet - but the chances of jacking peroxide levels in your axons are nihl.

Of course, your post fails to ask the most pertinent questions. That's okay, because they're also questions which can't be reasonably answered. Your mind is going to be running a lot more of the show than your eyes. In fact, you might be returned to operating with the neurons you formed in a bath of amniotic fluid, with all of the knowledge you picked up along the way, but absolutely none of the assumptions. 'n you might just come to overwelmingly different conclusions the second time around...

Or, you might just decide that you're stuck on the ceiling. That's okay too. It gives you practice in dealing with unexpected events.
