97 monte carlo
Yea, I just got this whip for $1,000, i got $2,000 to spare.
im thinking, maybach interior, navigation in the dash, woodgrain, chrome 24's and an engine swap with a '94 vette.
also, fishbowl televisions.
anyway, would you recommend this?

Let me just be the first to say, Your retarded. Everything besides the navigation is a completely unrealistic and stupid plan.
Also Everything but the nav would cost more then 2k each.

Re: 97 monte carlo
What you have is basically a chevy lumina with a few changes to its appearance. Personally I would not bother trying to mod this car.
But I'm assuming this is a troll thread so you probably don't care either way.
Oh...and there is no way you could fit a Corvette V8 into that car. Even if it fits in the engine compartment sideways the original transmission would never hold up to that kind of power.

Re: 97 monte carlo
I'm very well off, I'm a Pharmacist and successful entrepreneur. I just want a very nice car with some character. I'm having this baby shipped off to L.A. so them Mexicans can pimp it out and put that gloss on it. It's gonna be candy red. Oh and they said the motor would be from a '99 El Dorado instead, but that's still tight. I'm getting Triple Gold Daytons on it and a sunroof installation, plus 4 12's in the back with Boss surround sound, and a DVD/Navigation/XM console in the dash, which will be swapped out with a shit load of woodgrain. The estimate they gave me is 48,000$ and since I was considering a used XLR-V this will be tight as fuck and unique for the same price. This bitch should go 0-60 in 5 easy.

How in the fuck would this even be possible
First that monte carlo is front wheel drive and would never be able to take that kind of power
second of all it would be a serious waste of fucking money
shit if you want more power get a gm eaton supercharger and throw it on the bastard
idiot will blow the motor in a couple of days but his lesson to learn
and third you'd never get 24's on that car will never fit
you sir need medical help as your delusions are seriously fucked up

Bitch I done made so much money in these streets I can make all that shit work. if it comes down to just putting the chassis on something else, so be it. I'm not talkin about some faggot ass cracker customizing his own whip, I'm shipping this shit off to the pros next week, haven't found the right shop yet but i'm trying to hook up with the people who do Pimp My Ride. I'm givin them a blank check too, I want this shit done and I've got money anyway. im currently whippin an 07 vette z06, and i love chevy so much i want a true boss sled. and i've seen people with 24's on their carlos anyway so don't give me that shit. not like they were ridin as clean as me though but point is it can be done. especially on my budget.
A drug dealer, then?
Technically i guess, my friends joke with me about that alot but nah i'm 100% legit. i'm just a retail pharmacy manager and i own a restaurant called La Parradilla.

Actually, I'm quite sure the transmission would handle an LT1, and it would probably fit. The 3.8 and 5.7 blocks aren't that much different in size. People swap in 4T60's, 65's, and 80's in Fieros all the time to mate with L67's, blown 3.4's, and LS1's and they take it just fine. Hell, the 4T80E has to put power down behind a 300hp Northstar V8, so an LS1 should be no problem at all.

Then you should have gotten a fat Caprice instead of a podunk Monte Carlo. At least it had an LT1 and we wouldn't even be having their conversation.

LOL the steering wheel in that video does not even look like wood grain.
Just lock this thread. Nobody could be so stupid as to spend 48k pimping a 97 monte carlo.
Even a ghetto thug wannabe with welfare money to blow would find a better car to do all these mods to.

Re: 97 monte carlo
guys i give up. i am copping a Dodge ram Srt-10 mega cab from craigslist and selling this piece. actually i'm going to go look at it later tonight. it's 24,000$ and won't have to be redone entirely so it's probably a better choice. i realize now what a waste it would truly be, but i am still planning on getting a slab.

My halloween outfit is Viv from The Young Ones. He wears a chain and padlock around his neck. I put the key in my pocket without realising that the pockets have holes in, and now I have absolutely no idea where the key is.

lol wut?
4T65's a piece o shit. With a shift kit they've been known to go out prematurely even without any power adders on the engine. It would be even worse suggesting to put an LT1 350 on top of it, especially with this idiot in the drivers seat.
