I was wondering if it was possible to grow weed during winter. I doubt this is possible without a greenhouse or something.
And also i read that giving the plant some estrogen supplements or birth control pills will stimulate a bit more vigorous grow. Anyone have any experience with this?
No. Simple answer. Cannabis/marijuana likes the heat, but i believe it's susceptible to the cold, or it'll grow so slowly it'll be summer before it's grown any
Certain strains do fine when it freezes. But I don't think they're common. If it's a hard freeze, then I don't think there's much you can do for it. Some people have found that simply keeping the roots warm protects the rest of the plant from freezing temperatures. Compost or mulch would not be enough though. Your yield won't be high unless you plant a large number of seeds or clones, because it'll go directly into flowering unless you vegetate first with artificial lights. An autoflower strain would probably be best for winter but I don'tknow much about them. An autoflower may not need vegetative time since it flowers according to how long it's grown.
thanks alot, ill try to find that particular strain and put those hot hands things that heat up when taken out of its packaging whenever a frost is coming.
