I've had this happen. It usually goes away in about a week. It might have something to do with the memories of when you were with her, if you loved her then, perhaps something triggered it and you dreamt of it, bringing back all of the emotions you once felt and experiencing them again. I'd say it will pass, it always does for me.

Well I feel alot better now, I'm guessing it was my hang over aswell as I woke up with a bad head and with my ex on my mind, along with the emotions triggered by memories in the dream, I've got a new girlfriend now and have had her for a few weeks, now my hang over is completely gone now, if I think of the ex in the dream theres nothing there atall, what a head fuck this morning though!! can't be healthy that.

I was in the same situation early this year, had a dream and all these emotions from years ago came rushing back.
