how would this combination go? i assume respiratory failure would be a possibility but i just wanted to get some opinions.

uppers and downers arent always the best combo. I wouldnt try that combo at a high dose, other wise at a low mid range dose would be ok.

If I can handle adderall and alcohol, I am sure its alright.

i think its fun, dont get totally trashed though.

Alternatively, if I'm in the mood for some lunch-time bourbon(s) and find myself feeling a bit rugged before work, a quick 10-20 mg of Adderall has me sharp again in no time. On the other end of it, if I've had a day where I've consumed a decent amount of amps for whatever reason and find myself feeling spracked come evening, a few stiff drinks tends to eliminate my "comedown" altogether, not to mention makes it a lot easier to get myself to sleep.
