Stuck in the dreaded friends zone!
I talked to her today and she said she just wanted to be friends and if i could respect that and i was like whatever and walked away!
I wonder where i went wrong. Can anyone tell me that?
Looks like it's time to move on the next one! Should i give her the cold shoulder and not talk to/acknowledge her or should i still be friendly to her?
I will hopefully be getting a job laying pipe getting paid $13.50/hr if everything works out compared to the $6.55/hr i make now!
A little help?

Well you know you're not going to get her, why not just be friends? ..

Re: Stuck in the dreaded friends zone!
Move on altogether. Don't even be friends. Don't give her the satisfaction. Cut your losses and never talk to her again.
Ask yourself, what is a real friend exactly? The way I see it, it's someone with whom you share a relationship of mutual respect, trust and affection. A notch below your family or significant other. How could you ever create such a bond with somebody who doesn't consider you good enough to be with?
And this goes to any guy who ever faces this problem. Do yourself a favor as a MAN. Don't EVER be friends with a girl who deems you unworthy of being in a sexual relationship with, because trust me, she is no friend. Merely a stranger who'd like to use you in one way or another in the future.

Re: Stuck in the dreaded friends zone!
One thing you could try is being a little more intimate or romantic with girls. Otherwise you're likely to get lumped into the friends category next time.

Re: Stuck in the dreaded friends zone!
It's always possible to break out. Just initiate a lot of flirting. Don't openly show that you want her, don't overdo it, but just enough to build some sexual tension. The key is to get her to want you, and build on that a little bit more each day or week or whatever.

Re: Stuck in the dreaded friends zone!
You must of been acting too friendly. I see this a huge problem with some people, hanging out and doing friends things. Should flirt from the start and make a move soonish, no point in chasing her now. Why waste your time with someone that does'nt see you as partner material? You could be friend if you want - but obviously that's not what you really want. Fuck her, why humour her? You should be the boss.

I did flirt with her from the start! And when i took her out & went back to my place we made out and felt on each other for like 3-4 hours. When i brought her back to her car we kissed and hugged for a little while and then we left. The next day (sunday) we didn't work and she called me like 3 times!
On monday i tried to get a kiss (we were the first and only people in the parking lot, nobody around) and she gave me the cheek and said not at work. I flirted with her a little bit throughout the day and she flirted with me maybe once or twice.
The next day (tuesday) she didn't flirt any but i did a little bit. I also TOLD her that I was going to take her out next week because i had a surprise for her (i have a friend with a two seat motor glider and was planning on doing that) and she said she didn't know!
It was the same shit for the next two days, well i didn't work yesterday.
Today (friday) I went in for a little while and when i was alone with her i asked her if she was available friday night and she pulled the whole "i just want to be friends" bullshit.
I think i'm just going to ignore her from now on and see if that does anything! Hopefully i'll be out of there in the next few weeks make a lot more money than i am now and not have to worry about women for a while.

Maybe you were taking things too fast... some girls really dispise this. They need time to adapt and stuff... like when you're having sex you get a hard-on straight away but it takes some tricks to get her wet. You know? Maybe she just plain does'nt like you, that could all ways be an option.

Re: Stuck in the dreaded friends zone!
She may not think you are attractive or boyfriend material.
I hate to say it now, but make her jealous. If she wants to be in the friend zone, then fine, you can talk to her about other girls you're dating and how hot they are, how far you have gone, etc.

She's not interested. Haven't you used that statement before with girls that were crazy about you, but you were not interested in? I have more than a few friends because of this. They still try, but the boundaries have been drawn.

Yes BUT, it's worth remembering that having girls around can help pick up other girls.
Don't go making big emotional investments or anything, but remember they *can* be useful.

Im gonna do this right here! Im going to ask her what she thinks a friend is when i see her later on today and see what dumb ass answer she comes up with. I will say what you pointed out: "the way I see it, it's someone with whom you share a relationship of mutual respect, trust and affection. A notch below your family or significant other." Then i'll say "how could we even create such a bond if you don't even consider me good enough to be with, peace out you fucking trick".

If you're not good enough for her, you're not good enough for her friends. Unfortunately, girls talk (a lot), and girls are always competing with each other. Why would a girl go out with you if her best friend already established you were weird/creepy/not safe/not good enough for her?
A girl who has rejected you is entirely useless to you in absolutely every conceivable way. Eliminate her from your life and move on completely, unless you enjoy the taste of failure.

This is the best advice ever. I find that after totally cutting off from these women they will desperately say "NOOO I STILL WANT TO BE YOUR FRIEND, PLEASE". It's a good way to save lots of heart ache and money, as when they friend you they just want to date you only without having to give you any sex in return.

I know I'm very quotable and all, but I would advise strongly against this. What you say won't sound as poignant to her as it sounds to you and the desired effect will be lost. Trust me, the BEST and ONLY way to elicit an emotional response (positive or negative) from an uncooperative female is to IGNORE her ENTIRELY. Delete her phone number, delete her from MSN, delete her from Facebook, Myspace, everything. Don't answer her calls, don't return her messages. You were planning on meeting her today? Great! Take some time to catch up on your homework or play some video games and flake on her. Don't call! If you're stuck in an environment where you have to interact with her, stay on point, keep the conversations short/to a minimum, and generally give her the cold shoulder. But whatever you do, DON'T show her that this recent rejection has negatively affected you. Be (or act like) the happiest guy in the room. Show her how awesome your life is make sure she knows she's excluded from it by ignoring her entirely.
This kind of mind-fuckery is powerful because it's not what she's used to. By ignoring her, you'll be telling her LOUDER and CLEARER than words ever could that her pussy is an absolutely worthless commodity that grows on trees, and that you don't need hers to be happy. If she's spent her entire life turning down guys and if she's used to having guys begging at her feet, she won't know what hit her. In some cases, these methods can be strong enough that the girl will even reconsider her stance on you, putting you in a position of power. However, DON'T go into this with that frame of mind, or you will slip up and fail. The main objective is still to convey that she is irrelevant to you and that you can do better. Good luck.

Some women don't like to flirt, or don't appreciate men flirting with them.

This guy knows what his talking about. A little Machievellian for my taste, but still very good advice nevertheless.

Re: Stuck in the dreaded friends zone!
Whenever a girl tries to give me that 'let's just be friends' bull, I tell them, "No, I have plenty of friends." and give up the pursuit altogether. They will use you, you will gain nothing and lose much.

The worst thing a woman can tell you isn't "I hate you" or "You're ugly, I don't like you". The worst thing a woman can tell a man is "I like you, but only as a friend".
Well friend can't we just simple fuck like friends?
It sucks balls.

To clarify, I was referring specifically to clubs/bars.
Being there with a mixed group or one or two girls makes it MUCH easier to interact with other girls - they aren't nearly as defensive. You're probably right as far as 'getting with her friends' is concerned though.

Re: Stuck in the dreaded friends zone!
Hold your horses guys, I don't think you should all label every female as either one you can fuck or one you should have nothing to do with.
I have a fair few female friends who whilst I would fuck, I don't speak to thinking the whole time about it. I have female friends who I treat like male friends.
What I would say is that a woman that you went out with, kissed and stuff only to have her turn round and ask you to just be a friend you can tell her to fuck off.

Kine. Thats where it went wrong. you have to be quick and touch her. be physical with her. about that girl, just leave her. too late already. Dont talk to her or anything unless she seeks you first, which is not likely to happen.
find a new chick and this time do things right.
