Advice for first 'cid trip
My buddy just recently got an acid hook, something I've wanted to do for years. I've done plenty of stuff in the meantime, DXM, e, weed, salvia, even LSA. While it's not the greatest idea, it is kind of important to me that I do it tomorrow night. Problem is I have bullshit for school the next day, but not until around 11. So what I want to do, is take it around 9 or 10, enjoy the trip for a few hours, then go to sleep.
I've heard it's impossible to sleep on acid though, so would popping some Benadryls or a couple Lunesta be enough to take care of that? I also have been told that tripping on LSD can be really physically tiring, so do you think I will be too pooped out the next day? I really only need to be able to stay awake, and give a couple basically impromptu speeches, it's nothing that big. The event goes till 8, so as long as I stay away and participate minimally, it should be fine.
So basically the plan would be dose around 9, trip till sometime between 12 and 2 when I take the sleep aid, get around 8 hours of sleep. That seems like enough sleep to me, but I don't know how the factors of having come down from a trip will factor into my fatigue. I also do need to be with it enough to at least sort of interact with the people at the event.
Is this a safe, and plan that will work?

Take your tab, you'll trip for about 6 hours since you probably aren't getting amazing acid.
You'll be able to sleep by 6am if you take it before 10 probably.
I wouldn't sleep though, personally. You'll still feel nice for school, and won't be tripping anymore.

Well, would the acid give me enough energy to pull an all nighter and still stay awake until around 8PM the next day? I'd be fine with that. But if not, I probably should get some sleep. It is a little bit of a waste of 'cid, but the sentiment attached to doing it tomorrow is worth the money lost on sleeping through some of the trip. Might even be interesting to see what kind of dreams I have when I chemically force myself to sleep while tripping.

If you really settle down to try and sleep then you'll eventually be able to. Just close your eyes, listen to some soft music (If you can sleep to music), and you'll eventually fall asleep.
I have far more interesting dreams on opiates than psychs, but it could be nice.

I was actually planning on taking 2, I don't know if that would change the duration or circumstances at all. Going with two because it could well be mediocre acid, and I don't want to end up only kinda-tripping. I'm sure I could even handle two high quality tabs emotionally and all that jazz, but everything else considering as described by my first post, should I do two or only one?

How long would I be tripping on two? I do need to be passable as sober by around 10 or 11 in the morning, and I will likely sleep meaning I may not sober up as quickly. That reminds me, how long can I expect my pupils to stay dilated? Assuming I take two.

If you manage to sleep, you'll be sober when you wake up.
Pupils depends on the person, my pupils go down by the time I've finished visuals.

Don't trip until after you've taken care of your responsibilities. Or at least when you won't have to worry about the next day

Wait. taking a sleep aid to cut the trip is not cool with acid wait till ur free the next day and shit what if u get a doc etc tab. ur gonna be goofy for 16 to 24 hours have fun with ur sleep aid.
dont ruin ur trip the end is the best if u get some quality stuff cause acid can knock u off of just one hit if its good trust me.

i wouldn't try to get to sleep until about 12-14 hours after you take them... Although i have had times when i have closed my eyes on acid for what felt like days and opened them to see only a couple minutes had passed, or i have closed my eyes and opened them hours later as if i had gotten some sleep but i wake up completly alert and awake... but thats always on the tail end of the trip....
you have been waiting for this for years, whats a few more days until you have a couple free days, 1 to trip and another to recover... sleep aids and lsd are probably not going to be too great...
I am in a good fucking mood, my psych dealer felt like wishing me a happy 18th birthday (albeit a couple days late) he hooked me up.... I was supposed to be paying 20 for 3 vial drops onto my tongue or a candy if i didn't want to trip tonight and i went with the candy because i have work tomorrow morning. I see him drop 3 onto this gummy sugar coated peach candy, and then hes like "eh 1 more" and i saw him drop another on it but in the dim light he didn't see so he added another for good measure. i put it into a cigarette wrapper and sealed for the ride home... its drying out now in a dark place, but i licked the little bit of liquid off the cellophane and it was probably about a half a drop.... I'm not really tripping but i feel like i ate half a hit of acid so i know it is legit... i think i might trip tomorrow...
Its been a good week, DMT is in town and i want to fucking get a hold of some of it...

I second taking four. I took two the first two times I did acid and was disappointed. I would recommend just waiting and doing it on a day when there's nothing going on the next day, why would you only want to enjoy the acid for a few hours before sleeping? I don't know, just my opinion
