There is a girl that I like very much, she knows i do but doesn't feel the same way I do. We are really good friends and it hurts when I see her with other guys because I want her to be with me. I don't want to make her like me because I want her to like me for me. I'm just lost because I don't know what I should do. I have tried to not think about her and to not have feelings for her but I just like her too much too not have these feelings for her. I have never felt this strong for a girl ever and I just don't want it to end with out it ever beginning.

If she knows you like her and can't reciprocate those feelings, I'd strongly suggest moving on and finding someone new or a hobby to take your mind off of her.

It's pretty simple...She knows you like her but she doesn't feel the same way so she doesn't do anything with you. It's times like these you have to man up, take it on the chin and get on with your life mate.

Get some balls and just go for it. This is your fault for being too close to her to begin with. The nice guy/friend act just to get pussy never works.

Try being more distant from her as well before you do the booze route.

The booze option is a guaranteed way though if you combine it with being distant beforehand. Do it at a party though, don't just be you and her alone with some booze or she'll still think you're a weirdo.

Not only for your own good, but also because actually moving on, ignoring her, living your own life the way you want to live it and succeeding in everything you do is the best and only way to show her what an awesome guy you are. THIS. I was in the same situation. Friend zone.

At one point something clicked and i thought to myself "What the fuck?! why am i trying to get this particular (pessimistic emo-ass attention whore as i'd later figure out) girl to like me? I could do so much better!" and i let it go. I just wasn't on the same wavelength any more, i didn't want to settle for that shit any more. No hard feelings, i just don't talk to her any more (drama on her part ensued) and i realized that even though we had some shit in common, fundamentally we were on opposite ends.

Now i'm focusing on improving myself and succeeding in everything i do, not to impress her or make her feel bad for not giving me a chance (she probably knew i liked her), but to make myself a great potential partner with something to offer for a better girl.

But don't count on ever being with her however.
