the affects of one person
Well, i don't get this, how can one single person have such an impact on how you feel, just ONE person, so much impact, and with the trust thing, how is it, that in a friendship it takes years to build up a REALLY strong trust, but in a relationship, in a few months, you have way more trust in your partner than you do your best most trusted and loyal friends.

Re: the affects of one person
It's because you've got that inkling of "love" in a relationship, intimacy and care.
That, or the idea that we've all got of what a relationship is supposed to be.

Negative. It still takes as long as friends. A girlfriend/boyfriend should be a best friend who you want to fuck.

meh...are you saying the only thing that makes someone a bf/gf as opposed to a best friend is physical attractiveness?

Re: the affects of one person
Thats a good question. I think it's because when people date they expect more out of one another than in just a normal friendship. And when you're intimate with someone, unlike you would be with friends, it just makes everything different and there's more emotion involved.

yes, but do you not love your friends, family, pets, that new gaming system you got the other week that you have wanted for AGES? but yes, you are expected to have more of a connection in a relationship, it's just different how it does affect us all.

you can't seriously compare the love of an inanimate object with the love in a relationship, it's the same with friends and family, im sure you don't love them in the same way you would love your gf or bf.

Re: the affects of one person
You trust them (or appear to) because you have to. If not, there's gonna be trouble!

Strangely enough we were talking about this yesterday around the table. Most people said no, but personally I'd say yes (kind of, I'd need to rephrase your question first). I said a best friend you want to fuck, being sexually attracted (as opposed to mere physical attraction) would require physical attraction but a few other key ingredients as well.
But to put it really simply, yes. A best friend is some one you have a platonic love for. Now imagine if you wanted to bone them at every opportunity. Either that's a good relationship, or my idea of a good relationship is warped and I've been having pretty bad relationships my whole life.
I think there's nothing more romantic than best friends who fall for each other.

Re: the affects of one person
honestly lots of people in society put too much expectations in things such as "Religion" "love" "marriage"
ive gone out with a lot of girls and its hard to really "love" them unless ur ROLLING BALLS or theyre a lot like u.
whenever i go out with a goody good girl THEY BORE ME TO DEATH. only thing good about them is that theyre good kissers and are amusing to look at. i always end up wanting them to smoke or come to a rave with me or try some dangerous things...but they have their values.....
love in different sex is pretty much best friend hot as fuck= BONE ALL nIGHT , and then when ur penis is in her vagina u 2 become 1 and feel more of a unity

Frequently Asked Questions
Spelling
What is the difference between 'affect' and 'effect'?
To affect something is to change or influence it, To effect something is a rather formal way of saying `to make it happen'. Confusingly, either may produce an 'effect' or result. ('An affect' is a technical term in psychology.)
The stability of the wall was affected by passing lorries.
The demolition of the wall was effected by the detonation of a charge of dynamite.
The dynamite did not just 'affect' (influence) the demolition of the wall: it caused it.
