I heard that in China fetuses are a delicacy. Is this true? What would they even serve this with? Is there a fetus sauce?

Not human fetuses (or at least I've never heard of it). It's not uncommon to eat unhatched birds and unborn mammals in many culinary traditions.

Serious? No I haven't heard of it but it wouldn't surprise me.

You see the chinese cookery is starvation based cookery. If its edible then you can bet the chinese have found a way to cook.

For example, you'd have to be pretty desperate to come up with the idea that the solidified spit that a certain species of bird uses as 'mortar' to build its nest could be made into soup.

Don't get me , I love chinese food ...but only the faux chinese food we get here at our local Takeaway.

Real chinese cookery wastes NOTHING.
