Well basically I got a script for Biaxin from the doctor, but I won't be able to fill it until tomorrow. In the mean time I found a bottle of ciprofloxacin in the medicine cabinet. My throat kills so badly I don't want to wait for the drug to be absorbed then slowly begin to work so I am popping half a pill and snorting the other half. Think it will work?

This anti biotic works by stopping DNA lygase, essentially it stops the bacteria from reproducing. When I snort it I will do it slow so I get really bad drips. The drips will come in direct contact with the infected part of my throat and hopefully pwn the infection. At least thats my theory. And I don't care about binders or anything right now, my throat feels like it is full of ants that are eating me.

I swallowed half the pill, and I am not trolling at all. I can post pics of my giant tonsils, and the antibiotics, or the syringe filled with antibiotics if I need to.

And it may seem stupid, actually, I am well aware this was stupid. But I was in pain. When your in pain you will do stupid things if there is a chance it will make the pain go away. And it worked. I went into the bathroom and using a mirror I put the syringe right next to each tonsil and sprayed it down. It tasted TERRIBLE. I almost puked from the taste. But I feel much better now. Antibiotics PWN bacteria, so it was well worth it.

Anyways this thread is basically done now, so I don't care if its lock/moved/deleted.

lol so you think ciproflaxin works topically? LOL it (like ALL other pills) works systematically, meaning it goes to your brain, either does its work there, or is distributed there to your blood stream and brought to where your body wants it.

Yeah, antibiotics in my brain are going to kill bacteria in my tonsils. I can SEE the bacteria on the surface of the skin. Strep throat creates very distinct white patches on the tonsils. They also make THOUSANDS of different types of anti biotic creams. Please either kill yourself or refrain from reproducing for the good of the human race.

ok, 'white spots' are just symptoms of the infection, not the actual bacteria, you cant see bacteria, and while you said they make topical anti-biotic creams, thats irrelevant, because one, you arent putting cream in your throat, and two, the pill works systematically, so it doesnt matter that the cream is topical.

God damn you're stupid. If they make any antibiotic cream then it means antibiotics work on contact with the bacteria. You are technically right I cannot see the bacteria, but what do you think is making those white spots? Bacteria 4 feet away? No. Bacteria in the immediate area. Ever snort anything? If you have you should know that anything you snort is absorbed through mucus membranes. So if I get antibiotics near the tonsils, it will go into the skin, and kill all the bacteria in the area. You don't have to eat antibiotics to get the beneficial results. Just stfu you fucking retard, you don't know what you're talking about.

There is no such study. Because antibiotics ARE effective through direct contact. True, they are much more effective if ingested but thats besides the point. Spraying an infection site with antibiotics will help control the infection, and if you are denying that you are simply retarded.
