So just what are the chances of a horrible infection if you give yourself a self peircing? How is it done? What should I wash it out with? Pain factor of 1-10, how bad would it be? 10 being throwing up and passing out.

Ear piercing is easily done with a .22 caliber pistol.

For penis piercing, I would suggest a 12 gauge shotgun.

It depends... If you wanna pierce your ears, it's OK if you sterilize the needly (alcohol, or over a lighter flame). Pierced my ear when I was 15 like that, in front of a mirror. Never had any infections and the whole is still fine. If you want to pierce your tongue, or some other "wet spot" it might be more lethal...

You could probably pierce your lip fine, I haven't done it myself (self pierced my ears though) but I knew a girl who did in like 9th grade, so it can't be that hard. Obviously a professional is gonna give you the least chance of infection, but it's unlikely you'll get infected by self piercing.

I dunno what you're looking at pain wise but worst case scenario you can always just numb it up with some ice, which will make things a lot easier.
