I have a bud here; out of a bag of relatively good weed, that turns darker at the end. Signifigantly so, it seems black, though these parts are still covered with crystal... It's hard to tell exactly what it is...it's mostly bunched around the orange hairs, at what would seem to be the highest saturation points for crystals...

I think I may have seen this before with alleged "blueberry" nugs and other such name strains, though those nugs tended to have a higher frequency of this... I just cant recall if those buds look the same as this one.

Any thoughts as to whether it should be discarded, or enjoyed?

it may be where someone has dried it out under a lamp too quickly and it has scorched the bit directly under the lamp.

It's either a strain thing, the bud got a little bit cold when it was growing or what Spliffing said.
