i was at a wrestling tournament and watched this kid fight. out of my class, i tried to spar with him, even though i knew he would kill me, but he was celebrity and there was a line of people waiting to have their asses handed back to them on a fucking platter.

he's a demon. i know for a fact he will go olympic, or MMC or whatever it is... his speed, reactions, technique - mindboggling. he's absolutely ferocious, and some of the moves he pulls off with brutal efficiency are straight out of fucking tekken.

watching him wrestle is... hard to explain, exhilarating. it's sort of the feeling you get when you see a tank destroy things and it hits you what a amazing machine of destruction it is, or you see a thoroughbred horse run, and it hits you how powerful and fast it is, or watching a nuclear explosion, or watching buckethead shred, or watching a train hit something. that feeling you get when you know you are looking at something that was meant to do something, and is doing it with supernatural power and efficiency.

by the third match i saw him wrestle, i couldn't even think of him as a human as much as a force of nature. 'divine' is a good way to put it, like it said in the video.

dirty moves, such as illicit nutblows and making a triangle with your knuckles on your chest while pinning someone down, is considered fair in wrestling, although illegal and obviously not allowed when caught. for example, i came in 2nd place for my entire county, because i pulled a little stunt when you lock up around the head, and then simply flop onto your belly, with your hand behind his head, and bring his nose right into the mat from 4 feet as fast as you can... our coach had this rule, if the team spills a pint of blood, we all get pizza next practice.
