See I did it the other way round - quit drugs, but still smoke cigarettes.

I don't like the longevity of the high, and cigarettes do the job without a lasting effect.

Not sure what you mean. He's never been oblivious to the situation. He goes out of his way to make sure we're safe and don't get into trouble. It's not like we treat him different than the rest of our friends, I actually live with him. It'st just how it is, no ones being taken advantage of.
