God and Society Phenomenons on Dissociatives
So sometimes when i'm on dissosociatives like Ketamine or DXM, I go into this state where its like i've fell into a hole and I have the strangest thoughts about god, the universe, and things like society. It's all put into perspective strongly though, and the god stuff is freaky!
I read some different trip reports and some people refered to it as the God phenomenon.. I almost felt like I completely lost all of my ego and then I started to see clear pictures, almost like a vivid dream. Before this, I pretty much had no belief in god whatsoever, but now i've been thinking a lot about panentheism, it's also been a really weird week since the experience.

Re: God and Society Phenomenons on Dissociatives
those sort of insights are what drive people to experience disassociatives.

Re: God and Society Phenomenons on Dissociatives
I agree with the above two posts.
It's true. But not always. Some people just don't get it, like they're hardwired not to, and of course, some brains are already psychedelic from birth.
I believe endogenous DMT is the cause for my, and most people's "natural" drive to relate and understand the psychedelic experience, and the psychedelic aspect of (the) life/death/cycle.
And If you really focus on it.... 8]

I wonder if someone would still have those kinds of trips if the idea of a possible higher power had never been introduced to them, kinda fun to think about.

Re: God and Society Phenomenons on Dissociatives
Where do you think such an idea most likely came from?

Order/logic is a very small island in the great ocean of the chaotic/illogical.
Human civilization is destructive to the super organism.

Re: God and Society Phenomenons on Dissociatives
Pretty much the reason I even fuck with dxm. I hate people who take it to "get fucked up". It's not a zomg lemme get high drug but it's perfect for experiencing what you described.
Usually I get subtle meaning and revelations that are short lasted but I do remember doing about 900mg, smoking an eigth with my friend. When I sat in the dark I went from being in a basement to flying through space. An alien floated peacefully to me and presented me with a chest, within contained the meaning of life. It was mindblowing...but usually when that happens I forget what was in the chest by morning

I don't get it man. God, myths and legend have been around for an unprecedented amount of time. So has uncertainty.
Then again, so have lightning bolts, tornadoes, rain, really hard rocks, and non-understanding. Again, then that is to assume non-relation, a fearful and superficial predisposition.
Even if you assume some severely bored mother fuckers who can barely function and give them psychedelics, how do you think they would explain all the visuals and hallucinations?
Not only that, but accompanied with these visuals are insights into their lifestyles, catalysts for mental activity and progression, synesthesia, and a whole clusterfuck of subtle paradigms.
God and mysterious NOMnipotent forces are logical explanations for such nutfuckery.
Fortunately or otherwise, completely demystifying god makes it seem as if he is losing his power.
Caves and fuckin', apples all. Nom Nom Nom.
Lul, I read the bottom of OP's post as related symptoms.
Either he edited or I'm too sane to know I'm fucking crazy.
Anyway, do some empirical experiments. It's hard to find god when everyone is pointing to the fucking ceiling.

Its called entering or seeing whats in your unconscious mind. Your hidden ego has all the information of you being created inside of it, of course it god-like almost supernatural.

You make the decision.

Most of the time, when you sincerely point within, you find what you are looking for.

Well that's the thing. I came, I saw, I was conquered, and now I don't know what to do of my selves.
More templating is required.
