Better Living Through Chemistry Discussions of any and all sorts of mind-warping chemicals, pills, booze, mind machines, trippy stuff, current street prices, importing pharmaceuticals, smart drugs, nutrients, herbs, and altered states. Please try to keep your conversations "theoretical" in nature, since this is an open conference.

Question will this go away?

Long story short, I went outside, found datura, cut open a couple of the thornapples, and ate all the seeds from both of them. I chewed them up for a good 5 minutes or so, then swallowed them. It was.... very different to say the least.
Anyways, I woke up this morning and I couldn't (and still can't) focus on anything close to me. I have to hold stuff way away from me to read it, or just to be able to see anything. I can see ok long distance, but no short distance, and it's never been like that.

Your eyes are just heavily dilated, it makes you far sighted.
It will go away.

You should be jumpin for joy dude.

Most people find themselves lying naked in front of the local wal-mart if not the hospital after doing that.

Not that I'd know anything about that...

i really fucking doubt you even know what datura is or its effects for that matter without looking them up....

Your vision will be back to normal in 2-3 days....

anyways, congratulations on not dying/being arrested and waking up in prison/ending up in a psych ward talking to old friends who don't exist....

Anyone have any links to datura-related deaths? A friend of mine was telling me about a person who was kidnapped, then given datura and ritually sacrificed while tripping. How fucked is that? Anyways, datura-related deaths intrigue me.

That's more of a kidnapping related death than a datura related death.
