Default Where do I go from here?

Ok so I'll start off by saying I never thought I would post anything here about my personal life, usually hang out in BLTC, but I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed and thought this might make me feel better, at least to get it off my chest.

I was with this girl for almost 3 years, she's one year younger than me. We met about half way through my senior year in high school and I am now a junior. The first two years went well, drama here and there but I felt that it was worth it overall, as I truly loved her. Towards the end of the last school year, however, she told me she'd been having doubts about how she felt and thought we should stop talking. Weeks later, we were both home for the summer and immediately started hanging out constantly again. Now, back at school again, and she has told me she is no longer excited and feels like nothing more than friends.

My question is where do I go from here? I know that excitement fades with time, and we are both young, so I suppose I should just walk away? I am hesitant though because I still feel strongly for her, and quite honestly feel very anxious when I don't speak to her for awhile. I don't want to lose something because I didn't put the effort forth to try to fix it. With both of us at different large colleges, (Pitt and Penn state) it seems hopeless. Any advice or similar experiences?

Ok well no answers but I realized there's nothing to do but aggressively play the field for now. Being separated by school pretty much rules out me winning her back right now, so there's nothing else to say. Either way, I'm playing the whole "i don't care it's no big deal to me either way" deal... Seems like it will work, because i certainly found myself wanting her back the second she told me I couldn't have her. I'll just let her start to wonder if she made a mistake, then wonder how I feel; all this is dependent on me ceasing contact for the time being... Thanks anyways guys I don't really know why I'm posting this but why not update maybe someone has a similar thing going on...

How old are you exactly?

I was in your situation and i felt it better to break things off completely, i couldn't get her off my mind for while but eventually it got better. Save yourself some more hurt and drop what you have before the feeling gets worse, it might be hard but give it time..

Yeah and guess who Joon's advice columnist was? You go it, me. I've been here as well, not as long but time is relative.

It was pretty myriad on what you two went through so I'll give you the same advice.

You cant be limited by obvious realities of what is and is not a relationship. Period.

Love is something you fight for. And if anybody tells you its a cliche' I'll kick there ass.

So that being said, if you loved this girl ask yourself did she know? Was it requited?

Then you ask her the same. Ya go from there.

Look the the possibilities THEN ask why not, from there only good things can possibly follow. :D More often then naught temptations outweigh having.

If you're separated by distance, there isn't much point to the relationship at your age unless you think she's permanent material, which it doesn't sound like she is.

There's plenty of women out there. Go find another one.
