He got me to put my hand out and put a single drop on the back of it. Sucked on the back of it for a while and licked it all up.

What followed can only be described as the single strongest trip I've had in my entire fucking life. Easily stronger than taking 14grams of dried, good mushrooms. I temporarily was incapable of walking and lost all vision. Instead of seeing the real world with hallucinations in it, ALL I could see was hallucinations. It was fucked up and off the scales of what I thought a trip could be like. At one point I fell asleep (I wasn't asleep I was just so fucked I thought what I was seeing was a dream) and when some people made a loud noise I awoke from what felt like the warmest most beautiful dream ever. It was incredible. I've taken 3 normal doses of acid and they were about as half strong as the come up/down of the trip I had. How many micrograms are on a standard blotter/sugar cube? I need to find out. Because here's where you all come in...

He's being less of a douche than he sounds. It's called being "puddled," and it's sort of a tradition. For some people, it's how they decide whether they like you for real, or if you're just a friendly aqquaintance... "know beyond knowing" and faith in the LSD.

Don't worry about it. For me, it was some hippie in the family with 0.5-1mg tabs on senseless kickdown to a total stranger, lain an hour or two earlier. Almost certainly either fluff/point or very light silver or such, and nice and fresh - from chemist to blotter to someone I don't know randomly dosing me in less than a day...

Maybe you're puddled. Maybe you're printed. Maybe it's something else that's similar. Roll with it, man - while you may not know whether it is so or not at first, you've found good people.

from what i know it was sort of an induction into the "family" that goes from converting pure crystal to blotter form.... the type of people who would lay tens of thousands of hits at a time...

information is a bit vague, not many people have actually done a thumbprint...

Of course, that's probably not purely "where it came from," all in all; while one of the earliest known and most famous "acid tests" did - along with the rest of the journeys - became a pretty huge part of psychedelic culture (as you probably facepalmed and realized when you clicked the link, lol), it's almost certain that concurrent evolution will occur in any case where the original acid test was never heard of.

It's only natural. Psychedelics in general, and especially LSD, turn on (literally) parts of your brain which some consider somewhat important in the social and moral development of the human being; the number of people who have questioned the possibility of divine intervention in the nuclear bomb and the psychoactivity of LSD being discovered almost simultaneously in human history is astronomical.

As such, it's only natural that some people, when they want to swiftly know what someone is about, might want to flip those circuts into the "on" position and see if these new thoughts clash or blend with what the person's about.

There is no standard, really. No average either. They can range from a very small amount to a few thousand micrograms, and there's no way of knowing.

The Family is short for the Rainbow Family of Living Light. Family members come from all walks of life, and many of them have roots in the 60s. You'll meet a lot of family who were at the start of it all.
