problems "getting" the girl
About a month ago i was thinking about asking this chick, sondra, to homecomming, one of my friends is friends with her.. lets call him steve, steve found out that she would go with me, so after thinking about it for a day or two, i asked her, and she said that someone asked her out, but she totally would have gone with me if i had asked sooner... I figured thats ok, i really dont know her that well anyway... so now i am pretty sure that she broke up with her boyfriend, so im going to try to go out with her.
The problem is that ive heard that she likes steve. Steve is basically my best friend, and is going out with someone else, and i know that he would not go out with her.
She and i like pretty much the same kind of music, so i was thinking of asking her to go to a concert that steve is playing in, and we could all hang out. I am very socially awkward around girls, because i have no idea to talk about, so i figure that going with a friend of mine will keep me calm, and not so nervous around her....
so totse what do you think, should i ask her to that concert or not?

Re: problems "getting" the girl
If she likes this Steve character, then maybe bringing her to an event where she can marvel at how wonderful he is isn't the best plan.

Re: problems "getting" the girl
Your best bet would be to somehow infect steve the super resistant strain of HIV. Good luck.

Thats not so much logic as something everyone that isn't retarded should know.
Hmmm bitch likes my friend, not me... maybe I should bring her to his concert!
Seriously, I hope this is a troll.

qft.
it's universally stupid to take a girl on your first date to ANY band. seriously, you take a girl out so you can get to know her so you can get closer to her and eventually get your dick wet.. how does it possibly benefit you having her gushing over all the musician fucks on stage?

Re: problems "getting" the girl
no, im not a troll, just a social retard..... well she and i both like to play guitar also, and are into the same kind of music, what would you guys think that i should ask her to go do? go to a music store then hang out for a while and play guitar? the problem is that i am quiet when i dont have anything to say, so it would feel kind of awkward, so i was thinking of doing something with a group... so i kinda think that no matter what happens we are going to end up being around steve.... steve 100% does not like her, and he already has a girlfriend.... should i ask her to something where both steve and my other friends have their girlfriends? i was really thinking a group date would be best
i also do not know for sure that she likes him, i have just heard from one person that she thinks that she likes him

Re: problems "getting" the girl
What kind of music?
If its something more obscure like black metal or, whatever else is obscure these days-- you're good to go.
If it's mainstream bullcrap-- pop/rock/whatever-- you're not on too common ground as you might think.

Re: problems "getting" the girl
Learn how to fucking talk, or learn how to ask questions and respond to what the person says. This is a life skill.
Ask her if she wants to get dinner. You'll find out if she likes you or not, and then you can stop whining about it on totse.
