So he finally took intiative after our fall break and asked me to go bowling with him and some of his friends. It's not a "date," more of like a group social gathering, which I don't understand but maybe he's just playing it safe. Although, what he doesn't know is that I 1.) am socially awkward in large groups of people, 2.) suck at bowling without the rails, and 3.) am scared shitless. What are some things I can do to ease the pressure? How do you flirt while bowling? It's a individualistic game!

Cheer everyone on, have a good attitude, be honest, don't be afraid to look silly. If people joke around about your skill level, don't take it to heart. High-fives and happy dances are acceptable.
