Most folks who live in low income neighborhoods would probably blow the cash on drugs or stupid fucking big-screen TVs.

Much better to donate the money to legitimate charities or to a site like kiva.org that helps ensure the money you give will be used wisely.

why dont u just invest the money for the poor people by buying them shit you know they need..

like decent winter clothes, FOOD, bus passes, medicine, etc.

no need to give them a lump some, of course people who have never had money before are going to naturally want to spend it on shit people with money have (but dont need)
