So there I was on a cold ass October night loitering in front of a closed cafe at 8pm at night in my city center and I go to thinking: what keeps you from walking into a liquor store, picking out your desired products, counting out the money for it ahead of time, maybe even adding a tip for the clerk, slamming down the money on the counter, and walking out with chosen alcohol without conversing at all with the person at the counter?

Or it doesn't go through for purchase? You can't just hand them the money and walk out with it, they have bar codes and whatnot on the products. If you go through with your kidiot plan, you'll end up at the doors, the *beep* sound will commence, and you can either:

A- Run and get caught because you're a moron.
OR
B- Go back and get it scanned, at which point you will be promptly ID'd and told to gtfo.

Beer doesn't beep, and I've yet to see a liquor store, let alone a convenience store, that even has sensors at the door.

Actually not a terrible idea. Just keep your 'purchase' simple so the clerk doesn't think you're shorting him cash and report you for theft. If you buy a $12 case of beer and pay with a $20 you should be in the clear. Then again, why not just ask some random wino to buy you some in exchange for a $2 tip?

Anyone who has to go a forum - let alone totse- to know how to get alchohol is a fucking retard. Seriously of all the drugs, it's the fucking easiest to access.
