My first Mac
I've been tinkering around with PCs ever since my dad had a computer. Our first computer was simply run from MS-DOS and you'd simply type the program in to play the game, make the spreadsheet, etc. and I've been a PC man ever since. I've bought multiple laptops running xp as well as vista and I decided it was time for a change. I now own a dual 2.5 gig Macbook Pro (17 inch screen) and besides the occasional problem regarding a program that's not responding I really could not be happier with this product. I believe that it would be a much easier world if everything were based upon Mac OS X and I don't know why windows is so popular now that I'm a regular Mac user. I just wanted to say you guys got it right and there is no way I'm gonna run windows again... unless it's on bootcamp.
Stay safe,
Bos

Re: My first Mac
I remember my first one, an ibook.
We used it to hold down a pile of papers in the backyard, it was pretty good for that.
ah the memories.

Re: My first Mac
ahhh kid pix, I remember that as a kid, also the one where you would go on the oregon trail, can't remember the name though, my first that I owned my self was the first generation imac, now I have one of the intel based macbooks (the plastic ones) and I love it, it's way better than just having os9, I couldn't upgrade past that on my old model which sucked and eventually caused me to get rid of it

Re: My first Mac
Believe it or not I have used the same ibook g4 for the past 6 years. i use it everyday and it still works, never had to take it in for anything but the battery. I think the ibook g4's may be better than the new macbooks, cuz those seem to break on everyone.
