was thinking about burning it, but since the lightbulb already gets really hot, would it have already burned off?

The lightbulbs I always used had a white coating on the inside that could just be washed out, but I'm not sure about what to do in your case. Is it on the outside of the lightbulb?

My first instinct is to just start over with a different lightbulb that can be easily made clear, but it's your call chief.

That's kinda cool using a flood light...never though of that. If you are really that proud of it I would heat it up like your going to vape and see if any fumes/odd smells come from it. Or you could just buy a clear one...they sell them.

That looks to be on the thicker side, it may not work ideally.

Just go to the grocery store and pocket one of the 100 watt clear GE light bulbs, man. They work perfectly and it takes me like 10-15 minuets to make it.
