Default What are the benefits of being a crooked cop?

I have aclean slate still so I'm wondering if it would be worth it to keep it clean and being a cop. I heard crooked cops are fun.

-Keep some drugs/money you get from criminals you bust or take bribes from
-With knowledge of the inner workings of the police, you could work out a garanteed way to pull off a robbery

I try not to make assumptions based on the drivel I've seen on television or in the movies, but I suspect you could make quite a decent secondary income out of being a dirty cop. Albeit you'd have to go through training and a trial phase with a partner before they unleashed you on the streets alone to seek your fortunes.

It would be nice while it lasts, but eventually you could fuck up and get caught, and once you do you'll be fucked.

Just keep your nose clean for a year or 2, then when you have the opportunity to pocket drugs or cash do it.

Pocketing shit is really easy when you have the suspect handcuffed, or are searching their car. The camera in your cruiser cant see you inside the front seat, shoving that pound of weed into your uniform.

The only real problem you would have is getting the stuff home. You would have to ditch it somewhere and pick it up later.

What if you were seen by a fellow employee selling off your pocketed goods?

This.

Cops (and private security) have the greatest job in the world. Corruption is more common than one might think. Remember though: trust no one. An acquaintance of mine was a jailer in a small town, and was the type to rat the other guys out for minor stuff (he was a wannabe with a hard-on for playing cop all of his life).

The other jailers, all male, paid a prostitute in one of their holding cells one night to come on to the guy during the graveyard shift, when he was alone with her. He fell for it, fucked her, and they blackmailed him with the video.

I am thinking of the same thing:
Appear normal, fit in, appear to have morals.
Keep your head down, and I am not sure where you live, but after a little while you should have a chance to transfer. If you are pulling bank job's, for example, move to bank job's.
Good luck!

Cops are fucked as it is, shouldn't be too hard.

Like that time my friend's mom found a qp and called her police buddies... 2 cops and a dog searched the shit out of his room. Qp was taken "off the record". Hmm, I wonder what they did with that?
