If its just glass brick will work., i
if its plastic with a lock(much more likely) you could attempt to wait until it is getting locked/unlocked and jump the nerdy store employee.
Mask + gloves recommended.

Re: I need tips on lifting electronics that are behind a glass door
A brick through glass in a store would definitely attract unwanted attention.
Follow an associate in the electronics department for a little while, after scoping out for camera blind spots. Pull him into an unattended corner or bathroom, knock him out, and take his keys. Wait until you can see that you have 5 - 10 seconds of no traffic, open the cage, take the goods. Don't forget to walk by the now unattended register in the electronics department or the self-checkout to run your games over the pad that deactivates any alarm devices. Slip it in the back of your pants and casually stroll out. Don't look around.

Re: I need tips on lifting electronics that are behind a glass door
Wait until it's open, snatch and then run; stop being a pussy, it's easy and if you do get caught then it's a lot less punishment you'll get rather than knocking the employee out for his keys (yes I know you weren't serious but you know what the gullible kids in here are like; they believed me when I said you could open a car door with a tennis ball, so did the kids on rorta).
If it's attached to a belt with a clip or some sort on an employee then use simple pickpocketing or watch lifting techniques, such as applying pressure or stumbling into them while you unclip it; I've known workers to leave them on the front desk though; just look for an opportunity and take it (not expensive goods just left out unattended, they're traps most of the time).
snatch and run is your best bet.

Re: I need tips on lifting electronics that are behind a glass door
Another way...
Where would you be stealing from? I'm going to assume Wal-Mart. It's the easiest place to shoplift from. What "I" would do is wait for the busiest day of the week. Maybe a Sunday after church has let out. Nothing a good morning of praying followed by an afternoon of unrepentant consumption... Anyway, ask an employee to get it out for you. Make sure they seem overwhelmed. Wear something loose, but not conspicuously used for thievery. Simply wander around the store until you feel safe, and slip it under your jacket. Proceed to the bathroom, rip out the security device, slip it back under, and proceed to the OTHER exit.
Or... Go really late at night when everything is being restocked. The employees are usually too busy to keep watch over you. Repeat the same steps as stated previously.
If you're looking for a rush, get the game you want, say thanks, and then RUN. The only problem I've found with this technique is that you shouldn't hit up the store again for a long time.
Remember... If you're going to shoplift, don't leave where you came in. Always be vigilant.
