The first time I bought heroin is was brown tar heroin and smelled very strongly of vinegar/acetic acid. My opiate tolerance was relatively low,60-80mg of hydrocodone would have me nodding pretty nicely, so I decided on buying two $20 sacks. The amount a $2- sack weighs out to is about .1g, VERY EXPENSIVE SHIT. A gram is about $130!! The purity is pretty shitty too.

Anyways, I buy the two $20 sacks and proceed to head to my apartment to smoke them. Well, the first hit I take of my sweeet heroin kinda fucks up half the $20 sack because I essentially TORCHED it according to my buddy that was walking me through my first time. He officially taught me how to conserve and smoke my brown tar to be very efficient.

I didn't really consider heroin to be worth the money, AT ALL. I prefer to buy methadone for $1.75/10mg and hydrocodone for 1.75/10mg than heroin for $130/1000mg. The best thing about it is the euphoria that instantly washes over you after you inhale that first giant rip. It hits fast and very warm. Pretty expensive, I call it the crack of opiates. You never wanna put down the foil after you open it up.

P.S. - I only did heroin that one time, it was about 3 months ago. I wanna try it again. Just shows you that it ain't that habit forming, I'm living proof.

As an opiate addict I would advise you NOT to IV the stuff right away. Really if you're an opiate naive person you might consider working your way up the ladder first.

As always research the drug before you use it. There is a lot of harm reduction material out there that can show you how to use safely.
