Default replacement for tortoisesvn

I need a SVN client that is Linux compatible. It MUST be able to checkout individual files as TortoiseSVN does.

I have played with subcommander, rapidsvn, and am currently experimenting with eclipse-plugins. I am new to SVN, so if there is a way to do this with any of these programs i am all ears.

if this would fit better in "Hello World" or another forum feel free to move it.

With much thanks,
