Yes, it is considered a waste. If you nod after an hour or two of being high, and end up falling asleep, that's not a waste.
But if you pop your percs and then lay down, anticipating the warm fuzzy goodness to come, only to hear your alarm clock blaring at you...yeah. That's a big fucking waste. ^_^

thats not taking the opiates for the sake of the high then. go to the doctor get a script, pop some pills so you can go to sleep easier, and join the other 84% of americans that cant fall asleep without them.
save some to get high when youre fully rested and arent substituting for a sleep aid.

I used to do this occasionally when suffering from insomnia. Problem is, I find at least, I can't get to sleep when buzzing. I'll just lay in bed staring at the ceiling super happy and relaxed. Usually as I'm coming down though, I'll drift off.
Usually though, I wake up the next morning feeling sleepy as hell. Not my favourite thing to do

lucid dreaming is interesting, it like going from watching a movie of yourself to being in the movie... but there are other ways to achieve it than drug use... do a bunch of reality checks (pinching yourself and asking "am i dreaming?") throughout the day for a while, eventually these tendency's will carry on into your dreaming mind and you will be able to have a lucid dream....
no real point in worrying about my dreams, i recently started to dream again since i stopped smoking weed, but when i start back up my dreams will be few and far between... |

I cant sleep when im coming up or peaking on opiates. Im just too happy and my body does not seem to want to leave that happy place and go to sleep. But once the peak fades i will fall asleep within an hour or so while im still feeling pretty damn good.

It entirely depends on what your expectation from the drug is. If you're taking the drug for fun or euphoria, then, yes, it most certainly is a waste. If your intention is to use the drug to help you in sleeping, or perhaps enhancing your dreams, then it might not be a waste. Like others have said, wait until you're not going to pass out/sleep before doing the opiates, otherwise, what the hell is the point?

all depends weather u were planing to take the opiate to aid sleep or to get a buzz . but i gotta say if u wernt planing to sleep then yes its a waste of good drugs. personly when i take h i nod like fuck but i also cant sleep on it for some reason. any1 else get this?

no, its for the buzz.... its just that if im tired and eat some, i relax to the point where i can fall asleep shortly(1-2 hours). |
