So, I now have 12 darvon (dextropropoxyphene) 100/650.
I was wondering whether or not these are useful for the getting of the high.
It's apparently an opioid analgesic, but I cant seem to find much info on it other than the few experiences on erowid.
So, how many, CWE or no, and/or just chuck them in the bin?

Pretty much I wouldn't touch them unless they were the only thing between me and withdrawal.

That's not to say they can't be dangerous either though. My best friend's dad died when my friend was 8, I think, from a Darvon OD. HE found him, in fact. A fucked up thing for an 8 year old. The ironic thing is that the guy was very anti-drug. He hated the hippies [this was the 70's].

He didn't consider Darvon a drug though, since it was prescribed. He liked them so much that he had like 6 or 7 Dr's in 3 states that he got prescriptions from.

Don't mess with those. By the time you've taken enough to approach what some would consider to be a "recreational" level, you're risking possibly neurotoxicity caused by the propoxyphene itself.

Yea there not really worth shit. Its an synthetic opiate thats like 1/3 potency of codiene. Propoxyphene is actually somewhat toxic aswell an not very good for you at all, not to mention all the APAP in them. And suprisingly enough they an actually pretty addictive despite there low recreational potential.But to be honest if i had them id take them just because they were there. Id never pay for them. As long as you dont take over 6 or 7 you will be fine. Expect to be dissapointed though.
