i dunno, it looks kind of fake after having a think about it. the center of gravity on the machine is located pretty far from the tip of the arm, so there would be a huge amount of torque required to lift it. and then we have to deal with obstructions from the holding blocks.
then you have the people on the bottom who are standing too close to the possible impact site if it did drop

Nope, the hydraulics and components in these machines are built way stronger and way more powerful than they need to be. Its sort of like "it will never need to do this, but build it that strong anyway". If these machines werent capable of it contractors and builders wouldnt buy em.
