Is it possible to synth adrenaline or a variation of it? Ive researched it and it doesn't look too good.

I would think so, i was reading a paper but i can't find it, its like this

But you could also extract it from some animal glands... and then oxidise it to produce the so prescious andrechrome ;), unfortunatly andrechrome is not stable at all :( it think its like 46 hours.

OP, you have me curious, why do you want to synthesise adrenaline? Often the reactions that your body does for you every day are more complicated than anything the average chemist will do in a year.

hahah i knew someone was gonna do this! But yeah i have a paper somewhere about it, you can also extract it form the glands of bulls i think, i need to double check on that.

Hunter S. Thompson use to to do injection of adreline back in his days, read his biography, fucking epic!

adrenochrome has been tentatively identified based on nonclinical results as a potent nootropic waiting to be exploited...

As for adrenaline... biopsy something, get a sample, culture that shit. Maybe stem cells xD

This is extremely stupid and i wouldn't do it but how about: Needle and stab adrenal gland? That would make a close to unlimited supply of it Cool

Is it possible to synth adrenaline

Yes. Among other things, dioxyphenylacetic acid should halogenate at the beta carbon - phenethylamine-nomenclature beta carbon, not carboxylic acid beta-carbon. 'n ten billion other ways.

One of the more amusing is that desmethylvanillin should react with chloroacetic acid, in its magnesium derivative, to produce b-hydroxy-3,4-dioxyphenylpropionic acid. Hoffman rearrangement of the amide would yield noradrenaline, subject to formimine methylation...

or a variation of it?

An infinite number of variations are possible. Google "methylone" for one of the better-known ones.

Ive researched it and it doesn't look too good.

That's because you didn't lurk moar. The phenethylamine skeleton is easy.
