It's not really a potentiator so much as a nootropic. It's good stuff, cheap, and almost recreational by itself. Look it up on erowid. It's a cyclic homologue of GABA.

Buy some for yourself; it's dirt cheap and helps the mind, even when you're not on drugs. That's how he can afford to give it away for free. ;)

Definitely good stuff if you take it over a long period of time. For anyone with a few extra bucks to throw around I suggest trying a nootropical regiment and see how you like it/how it works for you.

5-htp
Ginseng
Ginkgo Biloba
DHEA
Modafinil (good caffeine replacement)

For about...$100 or so, you can get a few months worth of all of them. Not really an expensive thing to do and it's generally very beneficial for most, so a few hundred bucks a year isn't much compared to the common results.

Back on topic: I doubt it'll potentiate it at all, but I could be wrong. All you can do is give it a shot.

Good post darkus, I also recommend those. Except DHEA, it made me sweat, raised my heart rate, and made me very edgy. L-theanine and maca root are also some of my favorites. Toss B-complex and some omega-3's in the mix and you will really notice the difference.

Fish flax oil capsules are a great source of the omegas, for those of you who don't care for fish too much. and B complex supplements are a must have for everyone, imo. They're an essential part of a large amount of your body's functions, and many people aren't getting sufficient amounts of it in their diet.

Now that I think of it, a nootropic/smart drug thread would probably provide a lot of information from a lot of people. I'll work on one here in a few minutes. Of course, even though BLTC's description states: "Discussions of any and all.... smart drugs, nutrients, herbs....", it'll probably get moved to reinvent yourself.

And for anyone who's taken piracetam/Nootropil what doses did you all take? I'm trying out like a 2 week cycle at just 800 mg/day, is that enough or is more needed? I only got like 30 of the 400 mg capsules so thats why its so low but better than nothing. And I do bet that its something that could potentiate weed, though maybe just once and not several days in a row.

My health and fitness teacher who runs his own practitioner's office in Cambridge is into holistic medicine. He was talking about the benifits of vitamin C one day regarding the elimination of free radicals in the body, and he said that a daily dose of a few thousand milligrams is what's needed for it to see it's "cold fighting" effects. That's a few times more than the DV, and there are some supplements that are sold in that dosage. They taste like citrus.

A friend of mine has a multivitamin that he used to take before he would run track meets, it had a few thousand milligrams of vitamin c in it, and over a month's supply of vitamin b, about 33x the DV of each b-vitamin. Those chocolaty pills and the citrus ones together with ibuprofin (asprin never works for me) annihilated a cold I had.

Kurzweil has inspired me to take up a vitamin regiment like the ones discussed here.
Omega' 3's, ginko, melatonin, 5-htp, and others are in order.

^ But for typical regimens you shouldn't take that much. If the body is flooded with vitamin C that it isn't using it will eventually excrete it. .25 grams a day should be enough if you're not doing anything special and are otherwise healthy.

I eat lemons like apples, rind and all pretty regularly. I'm never ever sick either. I think that can be party attributed to the lemons, along with multi-vitamins and various supplements. Go yeah, Get your vitamin C.

gabapetin [neurontin]?

thats a very very good chance. i used to take gapapentin out the ass......its some really nice stuff on its own in large amounts. mixing it with marijuana is sure to delight. really [b]rings out the high and makes you trip almost. very euphoric though, filled with a bliss.
