PIC Simulator
This is my thread from the Cult of Mac forum, I thought OS X is built on UNIX so a solution for a linux system may be a solution for mine. That, and if there is a solution for linux i can get it working for my friend Please help if you can.

Does anyone know how I can get this program running on my mac or a program that can do the same thing? Any help is appreciated.
EDIT: I think I may have narrowed it down a bit, it seems it has something to do with the way the program is normally executed, when you look at it on a Windows box the icon in the start menu you would normally click on seems to be somewhat of a batch file in the way it starts this program. It goes something like: C:/WINDOWS/sytem32/javaw.exe -*****(can't remember what's here but it only opens the splash screen) -cp .;comm.jar;picdev.jar;kunststoff.jar Workbench . Does anyone know anything about java and how I could make this work with a script file. I know the first bit starts the java virtual machine and the bit in the middle opens the initial splash screen but i'm not sure what happens after that. Also I think it has to do with the class attributes not being set properly. Again, help is appreciated.

Find the jar with main in it, and java -jar classfile should work. If not...

Re: PIC Simulator
Apparently simulpic is portable C++ and should probably have an OS X port. Some guy on the internet claims to have ported it to the Amiga with no problems.

Thanks, but unfortunately the command didn't work for me. I also think you don't have the program I'm using. The program I'm trying to get running can be found here
http://sourceforge.net/projects/picdev/
No matter what I try I can't get it working, Thanks for your reply by the way
