Hey this weekend I'm trying shrooms for the first time, I'm going to be out in rural maryland and I need advice for set and setting. I can't chill at my friend's house cause his parents are there. Where should I be? What should I do?

If I were you, I'd find a forest, go by myself, and bring a cell phone, an ipod, a pen, and a notebook. Have fun and don't worry about it.

That's fine you can't in the house, you want to be outside anyway. Personally, I'd say find some place with water, a river or stream or something, with a nice rock to sit on nearby. I also suggest bringing a small notepad and pencil along, always nice to jot something down that you feel is of incredible importance, or try to doodle something when you get the urge. Interesting to look at later...

I'm kinda scared to take a whole 1/8th. My largest psychonautic experience was breaking through on salvia 10x. Are they comparable? Do you think I'll be able to manage on 1/8th at my weight?

Mushrooms are WAY smoother and different than salvia. I ate a whole eigth for my first trip and it was fine and I would encourage you to do the same. Once you eat half if you get in and see its not enough, eating the other half would be a waste. Whereas an eigth of extremely potent p. cubes would still be very manageable.

Potency varies, so ask other people who have had the same batch. Somewhere between an eighth and half-eighth.

Take about an 1/8. If you end up getting shit shrooms, you don't want your first time to be that horrible "inbetween" high/trip...I hate low doses of shrooms.

About 20-25 per 1/8 around here. And you can't compare saliva (done properly or not) to shrooms in any way. Entirely new cup of tea.

salvia and mushrooms are not at all the same...

hard to say a good dose without actually doing the mushrooms you have, potency will vary... some people will trip nuts on 2-3.5 grams others will have a more mild trip if they are lower quality...

just eat the 1/8 and find a nice place outside to be for the day.... perferably somewhere you are familiar with....

as for price, it varies by location.... there are supposedly some good chocolates going around for 15 each in my area (person said 2-3.5 grams per chocolate)... my friend took one in 1st period the other day and managed to have a good trip in school... not too bright of an idea, from what he told me he just started laughing hystarically at nothing in his 2nd and 3rd periods...

Hell no, man!! Night trips are ridiculous, do it!!! The visuals are more intense, there are less people around, the stars are out, etc etc....I suggest tripping at night, I did that my first time and had a blast. :D

You can see more stuff during the day, but I think night time is better to get acquainted with the drug your first time, I ate 4.5 grams my first time at night and didn't really feel like I was tripping super hard like during the day, but its up to you, the trip is going to be a little more intense if its light out.

The nice thing about shrooms is that by the time you are ready to come down, you are.

I think being in the woods at night would be good, just as long as you're deep enough into the woods to not wander onto a road. If you've got a sitter I guess it won't matter.

The sky is going to be great no matter if its day or night but night would be easier on the eyes. I wouldn't do a high dose outside in the sun but it's super hot where I live. Water plus sunshine on shrooms is reeeeeally cool. If you trip in the day, throw some water into the air in the sunshine while you're tripping. Most of my trips have been in the day time. It's going to probably be very mental for you, not just colors and stuff, it can get freaky but it'll be good even if you have a "bad trip". You may end up feeling like the entire universe, everything that's ever existed and happened, was put into your brain. That can be overwhelming but it's so cool. There's a good chance you'll feel like you're god.
