13 hits of good LSD would be too much for me. The most I've ever done at one time was 6 (on a few different occaisions), and I was able to hold onto sanity(although there were some weird surges of energy that would make me feel temporarily out of touch/confused) and your dose is more than twice as much as that...

8.5 grams of potent mushrooms was enough to make me temporarily insane. Granted I kind of stupidly lead the trip in a bad direction, and was entirely by myself, and started doubting reality without having anyone else to communicate with and tell me that I was fucking delusional. So that kind of sucked. I recommend a trip sitter for higher doses, especially.

So maybe it's my personal bias, but I wouldn't expect to have much for 'fun' or 'enjoyment' on that trip, though no doubt it will likely be amazing, and you'll perhaps be shown your inner demons and emotional turmoil, etc. So I wish you the best. I'm sure it will be constructive, but I find that I just can't take a high dose of psychedelics very often. Now and then completely shattering and reforming reality on a very intimate and powerful level is exactly what's needed. I just find I don't need it that often. Most times I prefer the effects of lower doses for a sort of subtle enhancement of reality and a cool mood lift.

On high doses like that, I find it difficult to leave the safety of some house or dwelling. A basement with dimmed lighting and chill atmosphere is good. At that dose, you're going to be highly reflective and likely somewhat mentally confused, to the level that being out in public would likely be out of the question, let alone the difficulty ambulating about at higher doses, or communicating, or maintaining a coherent thought to it's completion without getting confused/confounded.
