What if a chick said she had "Herpes"
Imagine your taking this FINE ass girl back to your place. The most beautiful girl, you both have so much in common, shes a year younger then you, everything is fucking PERFECT. Next thing you know your making out and things are going to the next level. Your hard as a rock and the girl stops you from undressing her and says
"wait wait wait.....we need to get one thing straight, i want you to be aware of the fact that i have been diagnosed with herpes, I dont have a breakout right now, but i wanted to inform you"
She then goes back to making out with you and acting like nothing was said......what do you do?

Re: What if a chick said she had "Herpes"
Tell her I'd rather not have sex?
I'm not getting herpes, thx.
Are people so desperate they will have sex with a herpes infested chick simply because she's hot and willing?

Tough call.
If it's a one-off, definitely not.
If we were emotionally involved.. depends on where I am in life at the moment.

I've been trying to look up the odds with/without a condom, and with/without an outbreak, but couldn't.
Would be nice if someone did.

Re: What if a chick said she had "Herpes"
do you like her?
if you do then the answer is clear, go on with it, just by telling you she has proven that she likes you and you know you can trust her,
just be careful and always use a condom. (im Guesing its vaginal because she made out with you before telling you, right.)

Close:
Unfortunately, no single precaution listed above can guarantee protection for a sexual partner. And because it's difficult to organize scientific studies of sexual behavior, there's no easy way to rate the effectiveness of each risk reduction strategy.
In general, your sexual partner's risk of acquiring herpes will vary according to a number of factors. For couples in whom one partner has genital herpes and the other does not, it appears the average rate of transmission is about 5 to 10% per year when the couples simply refrain from intercourse during outbreaks. But this average obscures two important factors: 1) The risk to uninfected women is roughly three times greater than the risk to men, and 2) the risk of acquiring herpes type 2 is higher in those who have not previously been infected with herpes type 1. Consistent condom use and the use of antivirals reduces the risk of transmission.

Herpes Statistics on Transmission:
70% of sexual partners become infected during episodes of asymptomatic shedding.
The more sex partners you have, the higher the risk of you getting, or having already caught, genital herpes.
For heterosexual women living with one partner, the risk of contracting HSV-2 is 10%. This risk increases to 40%, 62% and more than 80% as the number of lifetime partners increases to 2-10, 11-50, or more than 50, respectively.
For homosexual men, seroprevalence increases from more than 60% to 90% for those with 11-50 partners and those with more than 50 partners.
As HSV-2 infection is an ulcerative disease, it increases the risk of acquisition of HIV by 2 to 4.
