Heck yes, so this is something that happened the the last week.

I was helping out at a christian camp thing. Don't judge me right away, I don't even know if I'm christian or not, though I wish I was. But I've gone to this place all my life, and it's just secluded, nice, nostalgic and relaxing.

It was a camp for 15 to 17 year olds (I'm 22). Anyways, during the meals, me and my mate sat at a table for you know, people that are there helping out, we were actually doing the dish washing and all that, very lame... But behind our table, there was a table with one of the girl "teams". Don't get too caught up in this whole camp thing, I'll just get to the point already...

At this other table, there was a girl sitting. She had a pretty face, she had a great big and round rack, and a really small waist, just a sexy girl. Because of the rack, I assumed there was a pretty good chance she was 17. Sure, it's 5 years, and she's probably immature but dude she was hot, and I was lonely/desperate. But all my life, the few times where I've actually had girls giving me the look, I've never made anything of it. I always told myself I was delusional, because I was never that good looking and let's face it, I'd never find the balls to do anything about it.

But damnit... All my life I've been the shy guy, who never made a move, never pulled through with anything. So I decided, on the last night there... Thing must change. But what's the next move from occasional awkward eyecontact? Heck, I just decided that the next time I catch her looking, or she catches me, I won't look away, rather I'll give her a smile.
This I do, and again she just looks away instantly. But after doing it 2-3 times, she caught on, and we suddenly had eye contact for several seconds and smiled at each other. I'm telling you guys, this was the biggest rush ever. Just looking at this chick I'd never talked to, giving me this sorta sexy smile...

But the meal comes to an end, and I know there may not be many chances to approach her again, so after lots of thinking up and down, I just went and did it. She was about to leave the table, and I walked towards her, and I saw her looking at me... So I said "Hey, uhm, what's your name?". She told me... I asked her if she'd had a good time there, yadayada, asked her how old she was. It was an awkward little conversation, I asked most of the questions, and she didn't bother to even ask my name/age/whatever, but this may be cos she was a bit scared, as she was... 15. Yeap, turned out she was 15 years old. Pretty soon she had to leave, and no, I didn't get a number/msn or anything, but I like to tell myself that now she's kicking herself for not asking my name and so forth...

Anyways, the point is guys, that if you're ever in that situation where you keep getting eye contact with someone you think is hot/cool/whatever, be the bigger person, don't look away, but give 'em a smile. When they suddenly smile back, it's just a big rush.
Yes, I did end up feeling like a bit of a creep, but remember how people always say they don't so much regret things they've done, as things they never did, because they were afraid. I think I've seriously put hammered down a big wall in my life.

Sorry if this was a long incoherent crappy post, I just thought someone who's a bit like me might give it a try, having balls.

Well I don't know... I just know that personally, I usually want real life examples of how these things go down. So I just thought I'd put it out there... Looking back and smiling really works. And you know, I'm just saying doing things instead of wussying out will make you happier in the end.

tl/dr version: awkward guy attempts talking to a girl and nothing happens

I am usually the boldest guy in a group of three or 2 or 4. I will walk up to any girl and ask any question i want and i am very blunt. i usually walk up to the youngins and ask em "how old are you?" they answer, then i say to my friend "see i told you she wasn't old enough" then i say "thanks for your time" and walk away.

Try getting a random girls number in a club/bar and inviting her back to your place, that takes balls. i always feel slightly weird just dancing with random girls but i do it anway....sometimes it works out

Seriously, I'm real happy for you that you tried something and it worked out okay for you, but you ought to have known that most attractive chicks consider themselves "above" pursuing a guy, although they may do it if they're REALLY into you... but the title lead me to believe some awesome christian camp orgy type thing was what happened. Oh well. Maybe next year : /
