Anyone have any personal experiences with this? I have heard everything from not worth it to a mix between good coke and MDMA...

Me too, and coke is one of my favorite drugs, unfortunately. That is why I am very interested.

I've been meaning to try this, it's just not on my priority list right now. Maybe sometime in the not-so-distant future.

No. I do have some knowledge of phenethylamine SARs, though.

The base nucleus is methicathinone, essentially. So, there's one starting point for comparison.

From there, as Shulgin discusses the metabolism of the amphetamines, one will notice that alkylating the 4-position - or deuterating it, or a number of other things - will pretty much block the formation of cardiotoxic metabolites.

That's kinda cool, bob. Of course, it leads me to wonder what mephedrol would do, and to wonder if other people wonder what 4,a,n-trimethylphenethylamine would do, but hey... I herd u pplz liek methicathinone, 'n "not cardiotoxic" might be good.

However, there's one more factor which might come into play, 'n your thirdhand speculations reminded me well of it.

It just so happens that the only reason the toxin 4-methioxy-3-methylamphetamine (or something like that) exists and/or is something anyone would give a fuck about is that one of the predictors of "fucks with the serotonin uptake transporter" happens to be "lipophilic group at the 4-position."

Of course, since 3M4T1, for lack of a better name, is also alleged to be some sort of bitchin' superMAOI, this leads to people dying of serotonin syndrome pretty quickly, which is why it's considered "insanely toxic" instead of "MDMA 2.0" - which it was, originally.

This, of course, makes me wonder what ephetamine or n-methylephetamine would do... but on the less-interesting side-note, changing your second possibility from "like coke with MDMA" to "like cat with MDMA" might actually make some small bit of sense. Possibility-wise, that is.

As for "not worth it," well... you just don't have the right explorational spirit for this, then. ;) If eating shit that sucks just because it's there doesn't turn you on, stick to the NIDA 5...

...but if seizing the unknown just because it exists is your thing... the SARs suggest that it would be like methicathinone, with a reduced cardiac load, increased duration from the same metabolic block that reduces the cardiac load, and a moderately higher SSRI effect than methamphetamine... which does exert a noteable SSRI effect according to the literature, raising serotonin levels as part of its "high."

...but "structure-activity relationships" is just scigeek-speak for "wild fucking guess," after all. 'n the ages-old answer to "what does this do?" has always been...

I really rate it, easy to get online although a few of the suppliers are a bit dodgey... bought from a few and the clear winner was ravegardener fast efficient and best quality .... i think though that after trying a couple of "legals" that I prefer methylone.... more like the good old madman from back in the day !!
