 Taking the PSAT high
So tomorrow at school we have to take the PSAT...again. This is my third time I have to take it, I took it once in 8th grade, and last year in 10th (I'm a junior now). Both times I have scored over 50 in all the sections. It seems very redundant to take it again, so do you think it would be a bad idea to smoke a couple bowls then come to school and take it?
Will I be able to still solve the problems and time will just fly by faster? I don't want to completely bomb it because that would be a little strange to some people. Anyone have experience taking tests/exams while high?

I took mine majorly hung over and going on 3 hours of sleep, but I did pretty good. Its not like they're that hard anyway.
However, why would you want to do this? All things considered they're not that long, just man up and take them sober. If you've already taken them and don't care about the score, then why take it again?

I took the SAT sober and got a 1420 on the 1600 scale. Drugs and school don't mix besides certain stims IMO.

i havent seen it but that movie "super high me" the guy apparently took the SAT sober and stoned... stoned he did better on the lit and grammar sections, but worse on the math...
so if your pretty good at math anyways, go for it... i would suggest an edible to avoid the burn out...

the first time I took the ACT i had been up all night snorting ritalin and drinking (I was 15). I smoked a blunt right before the test and made a 23.
the next time I took it a couple of years later I was on day 3 of a good coke binge. That had to be one of the worst 4 hours of my life. I smoked a bowl during the break (no more coke) and literally passed out when i went back into the school. A few weeks go by and I get my results in the mail and I had made a 26.
I did this with no studying or planning whatsoever, hell the first time I took it I forgot it was that day until someone called to remind me. So i wouldn't worry about it to much if you are used to blazing all the time.
I just noticed that jamaica said that the guy on "Super High Me" did better on grammar and lit. Those were the 2 subjects that I did the best in...

Holy shit.
The PSAT does not count for shit. It does not matter - at all. You don't give a fuck; they don't give a fuck; nobody gives a fuck. It's just another bullshit standardized test that is somehow supposed to reflect how you'll do on the SAT.
Funny thing is more and more colleges are putting less weight on the SAT. Even they don't care anymore. It's not an accurate test of how smart you are.
So take it high if you want, or don't. It doesn't really matter.

Yeah even with the 1420 on the SATs I didnt get into the school of my choice (Texas A&M) because I was such a lazy fuck otherwise. Oh well, 1 year of easy ass community college got me in anyways.

Dude... 50 on each section is a pretty shitty score. If I were you, I definitely would not do it. Your education is the most important thing you're ever going to get. |

50s really aren't that good...I think i got like a 185 or something on mine...seemed to be a bit better then average among my friends (some of them got like 215s though).
I didn't even end up taking the SAT...took the ACT instead, spend no time studying and ended up with a 26, good enough to get into every college I was looking at so I'm happy with it.

dude last year I took it blazed and got National Merit Scholar, but not a finalist. (got a 194 or something) so yea, go blazed unless you're retarded when blazed.
oh yeah, I took the ACT this summer my 1st time and I was completely hungover when I woke up (i had only had maybe 6 beers the night before, but didn't drink anything else) so I smoked a bowl of dro, and got crazy high, ate breakfast and got so paranoid I almost didn't go in.. but I went in and took it, and got a 27.
adversely, i took it a 2nd time trying to do better, i was on 60 mg of IR adderall, and 20 mg of XR. i was doing good, but it got so intense I broke out into an extreme sweat, like pitstains and shit, then i was focusing on how uncomfortable I was and rushed thru it. got a 24 that time. so just go Baaaaaa-aaa--aaaked, or go Easy on some adderall. |

High scores on the PSATs can give you things like that (full tuition to a top tier school, sorry for the quality). And I've only been nominated as a Semifinalist a few weeks ago. When I'm a Finalist I expect several more similar offers. PSATs matter quite a bit more than most people think.
