Any conclusive MDMA evidence?
I realise ecstasy is a young drug but I hear and see a lot of word of mouth and websites saying it's really bad on the long term. Even after having regular 5-HTP doses over the past few days I still don't feel 100%
Then I see stuff like (www.tinyurl.com/yrh94a) which conflicts most of this.
Guinea pig generations giving birth to dumber kids? This is a problem for swim as his brain needs to last him his whole life but he enjoys the highs so fucking muchly. Help me, totse?

Re: Any conclusive MDMA evidence?
There is a lot of conflicting information. I'm under the impression that if you have relatively clean MDMA, and you do it strictly in moderation, that any long-term repercussions in terms of health would be fairly low. But, I'm no doctor.

Re: Any conclusive MDMA evidence?
there is lots of conflicting evidence, for and against mdma. shulgin claims to have made it but no one really knows for sure. i even know some people that will vouch hand on heart for its existence. Wether or not its actually real, i guess we'll never know as there is no conclusive MDMA evidence. Its all a matter if faith i guess

Re: Any conclusive MDMA evidence?
A recently new program on the BBC about the difference between the UK's class system and the danger of the individual drugs in question showed that there was very little correlation, if any. The program was closely based on a new study (although I don't have the details to hand - my girlfriend will somewhere).
Anyway, out of 20 (1 being the most harmful, 20 being the least) MDMA was the better side of 15 - coming in at 18 or 17 (again, sorry for the vagueness - I'll find the exact details later).
The study also found that a year after previous usage resulted in a complete 'recovery' of the brain. Obviously, if you use it every day for a month then you're going to fuck yourself up; pure[ish] MDMA in small doses isn't going to turn you into an E-tard, though.

Wonderful.
Edit: Oh, and I've dropped roughly 300mg of relatively pure MDMA over the last three weekends (a new year starts at uni and there's birthdays coming out of every-fucking-where). Yeah, I get the mid-week blues and I'm definitely more irritable than I usually am; but, other than this coming weekend (another fucking birthday), I'll leave it for a good few months before dropping again.
I wouldn't worry about feeling a little 'off' for the coming week after taking it. Just don't be an idiot like me and save it for every once in a while.

Re: Any conclusive MDMA evidence?
Screw evidence, how about common sense?
With those serotonin scoop-up thingys way more open than they should be, its quite possible that dopamine slips in there.
Dopamine doesnt belong in there so it gets degraded by some enzyme.
Dopamine metabolizes into oxides that are harmful to ye ol neurons.

Ok, that says that GHB and MDMA are less harmful than cannabis. Which is simply not true.

This is why you should always take antioxidants before you roll. Vitamin C has the added benefit of helping drugs (of all varieties, be warned) get across the BBB.

Re: Any conclusive MDMA evidence?
I believe it's been proven neurotoxic, especially in combination with methamphetamine, merely due to the release of serotonin/dopamine, and the results of that.
I am no chemist. Just because it's "bad" for you though doesn't make it inherently damaging, I think MDMA used occasionally, at sensible doses is pretty damn safe, and not gona cause any significant problems in the long term.

Re: Any conclusive MDMA evidence?
Ive been dropping pills 2-7 days a week for 3 months and i feel "fine".
Its the tolerance/lack of serotonin that is abitch. Finally taking a 1 week break to roll this saturday.
