Getting into investing
So I've got an extra 500 dollars laying about and I figure rather than blowing it on something I should invest it in something. But since Im rather new, I have no idea. I was thinking treasury bonds b/c they are really safe, and at this point Im just saving for savings sake.
help?

Don't put it in treasury bonds. Buy cheap stocks.

Indeed, do research, learn about the market and develop a money making strategy. It's better than letting your cash stagnate in T-bonds.

I've been doing a little research into commodities, and from what it looks like silver is a decent investment. I can't afford gold, yet, so I think I'll be checking that out.
