My girlfriend is hmong, so her family believes in arranged marriage and other weird shit. She does not, and despises their horrible behavior.

I have been with her for a year. Shes pregnant with my kid, and its being aborted in two days, this was all handled without my knowledge. (yeah fucked up I know)

Well apparently this weekend, shes marrying some guy shes never met, whos age is unknown (could easily be in 30's, shes 16, seriously), and once "married" (not legally) he basically has his way with her whenever he wants, it makes me want to puke.

Now I am sure none of this is legal at all, so what legal action can be taken? Shed pretty much be shipped off to Texas, and I'd never see her again.

Options:

1. I take her with me to my cabin this weekend, essentiallly skipping the wedding, and the creepy person who follows your EVERY MOVE the days before the wedding, to ward off any nay sayers. (WTF!?!)

2. She goes to stay with her friend Tyler in his apartment hours away, yes the chances of them hooking up are high since she and I would not be able to stay together at that distance, but I care for her enough where thats the least of my worries.

This came out of NOWHERE! What can be done? So far she plans on eating the sacred egg that the bride should NEVER EVER EVER eat right in front of her family, essentially disgracing everybody, lol.

Well, assuming this isn't a troll thread, I think it's illegal for parents to forcefully marry their children. You could probably take their asses to court. I mean, I could be wrong, but I really doubt it.

Take her with you for the weekend though, get her out of there.

She for some reason refuses to take anything to the authorities, so I want to know what I can do. She'll probably never talk to me again for telling anybody, but oh well.

It almost sounds like her parents are selling her as a sex slave to someone, and covering it up with 'marriage'. I'm not even kidding, people are fucked up.

It sounds like she's been brainwashed by her parents into not rebelling against them. First, you should try to get as much information as you can on the situation, and then speak to someone who is well educated with the law (a police officer, lawyer, etc) and tell them the situation. But you really need to get her out of there for the weekend.

OP : I suggest you suggest to her that, well... she drop a dime to the pigs. Normally, I would advocate against snitching, but there's something about getting your parents taken down for sex trafficking in interstate commerce that's just... win.
