i mean, they have key changes, time signature changes, tempo changes, and you could really get into their songs and just listen. They were just so awesome.
Nowadays, most of the popular singers out there have the musical knowledge of a spoon. Ask Britney Spears what a D major is and she'd just go "some guy in the army"

Waters fired Rick Wright during The Wall sessions, then tried to break up the band after The Final Cut and sued David Gilmour when he tried to re-form without Waters, claiming he WAS Pink Floyd. Settled out of court, but as you can guess, David Gilmour and Roger Waters aren't the biggest fans of each other anymore. Sad as it is.

Key and time signature changes are pretty much standard practice in music, and I'm sure Britney Spears knows what a D Major is.

I would say Charlie Parker, Thelonious Monk, Glenn Gould, Igor Stravinsky, etc exhibited different kinds of musical genius, but Pink Floyd never really did anything that couldn't be easily learned and replicated. The only thing that was really special about them is that they wrote some pleasant songs and developed a distinctive style.

what i usually give pink floyd credit for is that they were one of the first bands to use electronic stuff in their music.

Damn right they were. No other band has produced as many songs that I like, and continue to like despite consistent listening. David Gimour is a fucking God for giving us Comfortably Numb, and anyone who says otherwise can fuck off.
