Default What do women think of thrill seekers?

In my mind, they're fucking awesome. Any woman who was into extreme shit is instantly a plus. But then I think about it from a woman's perspective...and can't really tell what they would think. So if a guy was into heaps of extreme sports/hobbies, a + or -?

Eh, i ride a motorbike, surf, snowboard, skate, rock climb and i'll be getting into muay thai soon - some girls are like 'ooooooh' and others think your just a dickhead whos trying to be hard.

I just like doing awesome shit like that, my girlfriend doesnt really like it because she gets scared about the many horrible injuries that might happen but she went and got a learner surfboard and now we hit the beach together -

It really depends on the girl, as far as my experience goes it doesnt mean as much as other things like a sense of humour or stylish haircut.

Depends. If he's out seeking thrills rather than me, it's not all that appealing. I mean like someone says, it gives off the impression that you're trying to be hard. I don't have a problem with doing absolutely ridiculously retardedly dangerous shit with my boyfriend, but other than doing them together we really don't give a shit.

There's a line between thrill seeking and utter stupidity. As long as that line isn't crossed, it's all good to me.

I asked a few girls for you; they seem to think that it's good entertainment, but not much more than that.

Meh...well I asked some girls as well. Answers I got:

"What's wrong with just playing Rugby?"

"I prefer guys who are into cars, and have a nice car them selves (what's that got to do with anything bitch?)"

"The only reason you like those things is because you want to be hardcore"

"Motorbikes are kind of cool...but I'd never get on one"

I guess a large portion of girls don't understand how good adrenalin rushes are. Or these were incredibly boring girls.

I guess it's all about finding the minority that do appreciate things like this. Like my ex, she was amazing and I still love her to this day, but when we went skydiving, while in the plane at 14,500ft, she backed out and made the plane turn back (only after I jumped). Shit like that... just gay. How can you not face your fear like that? It's just not cricket (although I did teach her to ride moties and snowboard...she just had no devotion).

Only once in my life have I been jealous of a guy for the girl he was with. Like 1 1/2 years ago I was out riding in the bush and I hear these two strokes approaching. It's two KTM 300's. They cross this fucking deep ass river, pop a nice mono and come over to us. They take off their helmets and it's a guy and a girl, they say hi. Slam down a beer between them, give each other a small kiss, then uncover a kyak they had covered on the banks. Get in it, then go down the river. I was just like
"wow".

Any one on totse have/ever had a woman like this? Do they still fuck with your mind like a normal girl?

I know quite a few women that like dirt bikes, ATV's, snowmobiles, snowboarding, mountain biking, water sports, etc... They get right horny when they see me ripping by on my ATV, or jumping off a cliff on my snowboard. You usually find these women by simply doing these things, as they'll hang in the same circles. Just look at the throngs of women who like to watch racing, snowboarding competitions, UFC, etc...

I mostly assume that the women watching these things, and not participating, are just girlfriend trying to make BF's happy.

Do you know many/any girls that enjoy ALL of the above?

I know a lot of girls like this, I am one. You just have to meet the people out there when you're doing your thing. Watch a chick hit the rail and then go up to her at the bottom of the hill and tell her it was tight. Not too hard to swing. You're not going to catch fish in a sandbox, got to the fucking ocean.

I know lots of these types of women. I fish, camp, ride my ATV, snowmobile, boat, etc... and as a result I end up hanging out with people of the same interests. I find they're really cool down to earth women for the most part too. The interesting part is, that most of these women are in great shape, and very good looking too.

If you won't agree to gamble your own body parts getting cut off, you're not really a thrill seeker.

so why dont you go "wager something you can't afford to lose", if you so idolize the idea of being stupid enough as to CONSCIOUSLY/DELIBERATELY risk one's limb

that being said you might have a point, i am not a guy so maybe i dont get the male psyche. maybe there IS something romantic about wagering something one cant afford to lose

I'm a street racer, and I have had a pretty hard time finding girls who didn't completely misunderstand it. I'd kill for a girl who didn't always tell me to slow down.

These aren't the sort of girls that you meet at a club. They're the ones that you meet at a wilderness supply store, a convention, or while you're out having fun.

I haven't met too many thrill seeking women that you would call attractive. The ones that I have met have been interesting and great people, but their lives, and appearances, have been shaped and scarred by the things that they've done and the places that they've been. Do you think that you'd be up for getting involved with this sort of woman?

If you could find a party girl that isn't accustomed to all the amenities of life and introduce her to the thrills of extreme sports, you might be in luck.

Euda is a sensible man, with sensible answers to life's many problems.

Probably not a very imaginative lover in bed, though.

I'm not sure if that's a dig at me...but yeah, I gamble with my health. While I write this I have a damaged patella and a partially torn ACL that only happened a few days ago (ending my season....). But you don't have to deliberately put your self in harms way> Doing the most extreme thing you can, while minimizing the risks as much as possible is still thrill seeking.

Do you think that you'd be up for getting involved with this sort of woman?

The big girls? Unfortunately no. Attraction is too an important thing to give up in a relationship. Then again, I can find beauty in odd places if the person is cool enough.

Your idea of introducing a clubbing girl to thrills is pretty good. I tried that. Took her out on my xr250...she refused to go off of dirt roads/gravel roads onto trails. Skydiving,....refused to jump. Snowboarding....she actually had balls. It's so hit and miss.

I'm a BIG thrill junkie.

And you know what girls think?

WHO GIVES A FUCK.

Seriously, I'm not going to give a shit what some vapid cuntbag thinks. If it makes her hot and she wants to blow me, great. If she thinks it's stupid, great, I'll have fun taking her SCUBA diving to show her how great it is, then leaving her alone in the middle of the lake, so she can learn how to fend for herself.

If she dies, oh well.

Yes, I know I'm promoting misogyny, too bad.

Way i see it your gambling death everytime you get out of bed.

You can control risk, take it easy on the motorbike, dont go surfing in cyclone swells and other basic shit - but theres a tolerance for sure.

The first time you do something fucking CRAZY, shooting a traffic gap at 90kmph between 2 semi trailers - it aint the same the next time you do it, once you start you get thirstier and thirstier until you upgrade to the next level.

And theres always a next level.

you dont understand male confidence. we risk it because we know we can do it and are willing to put something real on the line to prove it to ourselves.

Why get out of bed? Why do ANYTHING when it can be dangerous?

Skydiving looks dangerous, but you've got a better chance of dying in a car crash getting to the drop zone then your parachute malfunctioning. Rock climbing is pretty dangerous regardless of how you do it, but if you don't start somewhere you'll never be able to do it.

If I'm going to die, so be it. I'm not afraid of death.

I am afraid of wasting my entire life because I was too scared to do anything I deeply enjoyed.

Live fast, die young.

And if you don't die and live to a ripe old age, you'll have crazy stories for your grandkids, and you'll be the coolest grandpa ever, not just a boring senile old man.

its attractive to me, because you know this person wants to get everything out of life. he wont settle. you know he will do what it takes to make his life everything he's always wanted, and experience everything that he wants to experience. see everything he wants to see. this is the mindset that will always be attractive to me. someone to tell me to just do it, just for the fuck of it. because what the fuck else are we doing anyway. this type of confidence, not in himself, but in the world around him, is just plain hot.
